Forget about "kill all" buttons and all the hassle. AMM lets you customize the out-of-memory manager settings on your phone so you don't have to do it yourself with task killers. This works on both rooted and unrooted phones. So just start it up and forget about it.

If you have any questions or find a bug/problem please email the developer. We will try to reply ASAP.

Just like everybody else has been saying it crashes immediately. Can't even open the app. Droid Turbo 2 Nougat 7.0 Hoping for a fix. iolo System Mechanic on my PC is just awesome. I'd really love for them to be able to work their magic on my phone.

S70%
by S####:

Downloaded it and clicked open. It crashed instantly. Restarted the phone. It crashed. Wiped it from the phone, restarted the phone, reinstalled. It crashed. Spent a good 30 minutes trying to get it working. It crashes no matter what I try. I'm not slicking my phone for an app that will probably crash again.

Downloaded and when I hit open got msg app was down. Uninstalled and reinstalled, but got same error msg when I tried to open. Would like it to work as I am a long time user of System Mechanic on my desktop and love it.

Y70%
by Y####:

I love system mechanic (PRO) on my computer. Why has the app not come up to par with your computer side products? No antivirus? No mobile version of system mechanic? Health Status? Is the last activity on this app really all the way back in 2013? Any future plans for android devices?

J70%
by J####:

I'm surprised since I own system mechanic on my PC that this app is not as efficient or effective. It keeps giving me report that the app stopped working, maybe it's incompatible with my droid turbo 2 not sure.

I am using local.prop to keep Phone, Contacts, Messaging apps alive. Not sure if that works. Then I got this app. I can set the process priority to -17 on Phone app, then doing it with Contacts or Messaging, makes the app freeze while refreshing list. Not sure if this actually works. Noticed no difference on Xperia ray St18i

R70%
by R####:

I was using it due to keyboard disappearing in Kitkat version of my phone. At first it worked like charm and still it is. The problem is that whenever I use Facebook and messenger, the keyboard disappereance problem comes back because the kill priority is set back to 2 by system which I changed to -17 by keeping it in memory. I think its bug of my ROM not yours.

by N####:

This app made my phone feel brand new again. Everything is quick ans does not lag anymore. The only problem I have is switching between apps sometimes the app I want will be closed before I can get back to it. It is a small price to pay for a quick phone again though. If it did not require root access I would install it on all of my friends phones.

N70%
by N####:

This app is way better than than task killers if you've got a rooted phone. It lets you adjust androids built in memory manager settings. If you're phone isn't rooted its just acting like a normal auto task killer and that's why some of you have said it eats battery. In root mode it adjusts the kernel settings and doesn't even run in the background. In non root mode it has to stay running and poll the system every so often to make sure it keeps up with your settings. So make sure to run it with root access!

Using, seems to work well. Very unobtrusive. With HTC battery saver ON, getting good battery life. IF you want a lot of bells and whistles, don't use this. It just does what it does with minimal notifications. I like it. I have used their PC products for years!

This app saved my phone. My phone has been extremely laggy and sluggish for a very long time. I tried many different apps claiming to improve my phone's performance and nothing helped...this was to the point I was ready to drop $700 on a new phone I was that frustrated. Then I read about this app on pc mag. I tried it. I have now re-fallen in love with my phone! Thanks for this app!

by N####:

Program kept crashing immediately after installation. First time I opened it, it crashed bringing up 3 Report notifications. Only wanted it to open, once. Repeated efforts brought no joy so deleted it. Can't rate a product anything more than one star if it doesn't even work.

Excellent app!! Worked for me. By the way can you suggest a good range? I mean I got only 512mb ram.. Sometimes some app just get cut abruptly... Suggest something customized.. Thanks in advance! Cheers

I usually never post comments because I am so skeptical of software...but this one is amazing! You can set radical limits on available memory and leave it alone. There are no system errors or crashes as a result, and you can see the available memory being cleared up constantly without having to monitor the program. Thank you for making a quality download available!

Wanted something simple to improve Android memory management (which is not the most efficient). Tried several apps but they were way too "techie" for me. This one fits the bill. Pick a plan (Aggressive, Mild, or Default) and hit Apply - all done. Doesn't get much simpler and it works.

I try many apps for boost my Tablet, but this app really works for my Samsung galaxy Note 8 Tablet! I can't understand some people critical this app! This Software is a must have!! Thank you very much for Auto Memory Manager! And also thank you for the development Team!

Use this on my phone and what a difference, very fast so I tried it on my Asus TF700t tablet though it said design for phones and now it's running a lot faster! All 4 of my devices have this app,by the way it cleared up lag as well!

N70%

My galaxy s advance really started struggling with running newer apps and would sometimes force close the active app. Thanks to this I can now run those apps smoothly, and responsiveness in federal increased.

Used to work, now I try to start it and it immediately force close, issue not resolved 12 July 2015. Uninstall. Tryed the app again and same issue as before, 21 June 2016. Samsung Galaxy S6

N70%
by N####:

Seems to be doing something but not giving substantial performance improvement. Really I wanted to be able to alter the priority of different apps so certain ones would be left til last, and it certainly didn't help with that. Uninstalled.

M70%
by M####:

Mitigates memory usage approaching unstable levels without practically affecting Android's capacity to cache. Free, no ads, and simply effective. Applicable to most out of box devices independendent of total RAM capacity, particularly those with less refined memory managers (ie Touchwiz). 2 years of in depth use proved this app to be worthy of a review to me.

Upload and see how awesome this app works. Thanks so much. I only wish that they put an address so that I could send money because I don't like to do that stuff on the internet. God bless the maker of this app. You saved me so much hassle! Thank you, thank you!

L70%
by L####:

The app does work, however, i had hoped for something more. I was expecting it to allow me to adjust, alter, and manage my memory manually (further than the few options it allows). It gets the job done but is not as thorough as i would like it to be. It would be five stars had there been a way to manually alter the memory managers settings, allowing for apps and various other memory consuming programs to be organized in such a way as to minimize memory loss.

R70%
by R####:

Keeps popping up with messages on how much memory it destroyed! I can't seem to find a way to turn off notifications so I'm uninstalling as that's more annoying than saving only 1MB in RAM!

N70%
by N####:

to Mad squirrel & company for this awesome app. Before this, I've owned DS battery saver pro (kill type), tried Greenify (hibernate type) and few others but still got problems and bugs. This app is the perfect one. It manages unwanted apps in an really innovative way... A must have!

Seem outdated as latest update is 2013, like seriously there is no maintanance have been done iolo? Yet, the app still working as it should. But, better have more feature in order to compete other tons of app.

Hey! Thabks for this app, it's amazing!! I just have one problem: every time I change the priority of a process, after some seconds it returns to its default priority. What could be the problem? I am using stock S5. Thx!

All of the other apps are useless, but this one is best also for those phones that are not rooted. I have tried other task managers and this one does a better job of customizing your level of control to kill apps running in the background or foreground. I love it!

G70%

This app is doing what it can do, as described. I have been installing and uninstalling several apps similar to this app, but this is flawless and I won't let it go! I can browse like a thunder now.

I like running it on aggressive. That works best for me. Where to buy the premium version? Sold American.

My phone is moto g lollipop 5.0.2 rooted. When opening auto memory manager it is showing ' Unfortunately auto memory manager stopped'. I think this app is not working on lollipop. Please update it to work on lollipop.

Not updated for a long time and does not use 8 bytes multiples to adjust memory (it uses 5 multiples). Also, t does not show apps on correct OOM groups on Jelly Bean. It just show apps allocated on foreground and all other ones under Visible apps. No other app are allocated to remaining OOM groups . I suspect it will affect memory management. Strangely It does correctly shows apps on correct groups under Gingerbread. 3 stars because it does the job anyway

i have an acer a500, samsung transform ultra and an lg optimus and all 3 it works great on you just have to have the correct settings for each of your devices to have it do what it is meant to. i watch a lot of netflix and when i loaded it before the app it would lag badly with the app there is no more super lag starting it....no it dont work on network settings but the start up of appz was faster specially with a low mem device.

I installed this app on my Dell Venue 7 (Severely RAM-CHALLENGED) Tablet, and the app works great...5 stars for the Dell tablet. I installed the app on my Galaxy S5 and it won't run at all...just says "unfortunately (yeah...no kidding!) the app has stopped". Uninstalled it from my S5. I love the app because it's a way to stop bloatware apps that use up phone and tablet RAM and run even when you dont want them.

Not sure if it is working. I have a problem. I use VoicePRO as my recorder but if I switch to another program, it often bumps VoicePRO out of memory and the recording is completely lost. Obviously, this is undesirable (at worst, I prefer to lose my foreground program). So I try to give VoicePRO max priority with the "Keep Alive" button and it displays the priority changed to maximum (Good). After say half an hour I check on it and its priority switches back to 9 or 10. So, did it work at all or did something change it back? If things do get changed back, perhaps a function to constantly reload the user's priorities is necessary?
