StarTran Bus Tracker

When it works, its great. Love being able to know the current location of my bus. Although for the last 2 months the app seems to have glitch that doesn't show me any buses or stops. Just the map and my own location. I've reinstalled the app several times.

2 stars for at least having a working map and letting me see the bus routes. No more simply because this app does nothing for me with schedules. No static schedule, and no live schedule. Just a flat out waste. I even wasted a dollar thinking that the features I needed were behind a pay wall. Not the case.

Disappointed. Although I am using the free version of this app it should be more accurate. I've missed now 4-5 busses due to the times fluctuating by just a couple 2-3 mins. Like just now, bus was scheduled to come at 8:05 I was standing at the stop at 8:01 and while waiting at it I realized It's 8:07 checked the app again and it had already passed. If the busses are ahead of time they should slow down or keep this app updated if it'll be a few mins earlier.

I use this every day to see which side of the loop to wait on after dropping kids off at school. Lets me avoid a mix up, and I catch my bus every time :) I don't need schedule info in the app, I have the schedules bookmarked on my browser. It is nice to be able to pull up any bus route while I am walking, and make sure I intersect with the bus. I walk everywhere, and sometimes I get tired and easily finding a nearby route is a great help. No more calls to the crabby Star Tran lady to answer my stupid questions :D

It would be great if you could just enter your location and destination and the app tell you what time and bus route you should take. Something like what google maps does when you click public transportation in bigger cities.

It is April 2017, and this app is no longer working for me! I used it a lot before and it has its flaws, but I still loved it. Now it doesn't show buses or routes or anything at all besides where I am on the map.

I don't like this version you used to be able to see the bus's but now you have to have Wi-Fi for it to even load anything and most of the time you can't see where your bus is no matter if you have Wi-Fi or not, I used to love this app but now it's getting on my nerves FIX IT

Dont get me wrong its a great idea, but kinda pointless if not all ur busses turn on their gps to track

I'm currently riding this bus, but it doesn't appear on the map. New routes Nov. 1 might be the culprit.

This app is garbage now. It does not work. All it shows is a blue dot showing my location

This app has made miss the bus several times and some busses are unable to be tracked. I wish they would fix the 48/54 bus stating its going inbound from gateway mall when really its outbound. These is extremely frustrating when u have two little children to take on the bus.

The app only shows the location of the bus when connected to wifi. All other times it shows no route location s.

Most useless map. The developer(s) must have a brain the size of a 1 year old.

The app doesn't even show the buses whereabouts. Really sucked when I was trying to get home from work.

I take route 49 and most of the time buses don't even show up on this app.

Just downloaded it, and so I don't even know if it has every feature I might really like, or if the real-time tracking always works or works at all, but it has all the routes and a map so I can figure out how to get from A to B in Lincoln, a huge help to me! Schedules are available for routes on all the buses and if you want to know where all the stops are, just ride the bus once, and take notes, duh! Rated 5 stars, bkz somebody created a very helpful APP, for free! Whiners, create a better App yourselves!

Every time I turn it on it shows me the running busses from the last time I used the app. It'll take more than 5 min, sometimes as much as 40, to show me part of the current routes. Even then, sometimes my bus "isn't running." Sadly, it's better to have the app if you can afford a smartish phone than to come to bus stop with a broken message board.

Really helpful for catching the next bus at any stop! You can see the ETA of the bus in real time using data fetched from the bus gps. Really helpful!

This app is great, however the developer has abandoned it so over time issues are cropping up with mapping that isn't being resolved.

Great to find stops, routes but the real time bus tracking is very flawed.

It will not let me see the bus on Saturday it only shows the bus on monday uninstalled it and then reinstall it and still the same need to fix

I used it a couple of times and loved it but it just stopped showing me the busses. Now it always says that there are 0 vehicles out for every route! Please fix this app would be awesome if it worked!
