What's Changed
With this update gives you can now setup an alert for a journey, if you couldn't quite find the lift you were looking for. We'll let you know if we find a driver going your same way.
We have also made it easier for drivers to find and accept booking requests, with badges and notifications in the message thread.
To finish things off, we made search results easier to scan if you are flexible on dates and we have added more support information when booking your lifts.

The app is just too buggy and under developed to be of any use. Transport is too important to be left to this much chance. Use the website till they have made a proper app.

The message alert function is fantastic: the way it works is that after setting up the journey Liftshare data match with other users. Should a member reply to Liftshare that s/he wants to share your journey, Liftshare emails you with a journey match, but the app gives you the same alert without you having to log in to your email. Brilliant!

Return journey refuses to set for correct date instead keeps resetting to same date as leaving. Setting to flexibility of 1hr sets to flexibility of 3 minutes. Suggested cost is the same for single as it is for return.

The hardest part of finding someone to split petrol costs with is taken care of by the app. I've got it on phone as I fully expect to need it the next time I'm caught in a train strike, tube strike or bus strike. London, I'm looking at you.
