About Zoom HRV

CONSCIOUS AND SUB-CONSCIOUS MONITORING
The Zoom HRV app is an advanced training tool designed to work seamlessly with the LifeTrak Zoom HRV, the first wearable to automatically measure both Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and Continuous Heart Rate - accurately from the wrist.

Until now, measuring HRV required sophisticated medical equipment, cumbersome chest belts or slow finger-touch readings. By contrast, ZOOM automatically detects your HRV hands-free during the day and systematically during periods of deep sleep to provide an ongoing highly personal wellness assessment called VScore. Your VScore can be tracked over time on the Zoom HRV app to monitor increases and decreases in your physical wellbeing. Or for an on-demand measurement, ZOOM will perform a 3-minute VScan to reveal your real-time recovery status and readiness to train.

With a push of a button ZOOM continuously measures your heart rate, monitors all physical activity, auto-detects sleep, calculates calories burned based on heart rate intensity, records your heart rate zone activity during your workouts, manages ambient blue light exposure and even counts laps in the pool. Zoom is water resistant to 50 meters and provides streaming biofeedback on a single charge for 5 days.

INTRODUCE FLEX WEAR AND TRACK YOUR WORKOUTS
Unlike the more simplistic devices crowding the market, ZOOM adapts its bio-sensing capabilities to varying body locations based on functional need. For runners who prefer easy-to-view optics ZOOM secures to the wrist to detect and display critical in-motion heart-rate zone data. For those who elect to free up the wrist during activities such as yoga, swimming, cross-fit and other forms of interval and strength training ZOOM relocates to the forearm or upper arm. For all types of cycling from road riding to indoor EPOC cycling ZOOM secures to the ankle to measure cadence metrics and heart-rate intensity.
This advance in versatility is made possible through ZOOM’s lightweight pod design which easily locks into and out of custom-designed Flex Wear accessories to meet the needs of multi-sport athletes. But the ZOOM’s versatility doesn’t stop there. Understanding that swimming is an essential training component to many, ZOOM performs seamlessly under water detecting heart-rate data, pool laps and calories-burned during swimming.
Zoom HRV and its app track four different workout types: General Exercise, Running/Waling, Swimming and Cycling. The app provides you with specific insights to your activities.

CONNECT WITH YOURSELF
Sync your ZOOM with the Zoom HRV app to get a deeper understanding of your recovery status, readiness to train, daily activity, sleep analysis and most importantly - yourself, providing additional motivation towards a healthier lifestyle.

This tracker is complete trash. The manual says to open the app, then click the button on your Zoom three times quickly to sync. Except it NEVER syncs. It's hard to believe a company could screw up a technology as ubiquitous as Bluetooth, but these guys have done it. The Zoom HR is a complete and total WASTE OF MONEY.

This product makes me rest ^^ glitches on app here and there.. steep learning curve.. yet once you're there.. you're there ^^ could not find "setting" button after the last update..

After the most recent update my device no longer functions properly. It will not sync or connect in any way. Lifetrak support gave me the basic reset instructions from the manual and when those did not work they have proceeded to ignore my pleads for assistance and will not honor the 1 year warranty. The idea of the ZoomHRV is great but the LifeTrak team does not provide the resources, support, and development needed for a new device such as this. What we're left with is a potentially great device as a paperweight

No response from support after their update doesn't let me log in anymore... Fix and I'll up it to 4 stars as the app is normally great.

Worked great until today and now I can't log in. Says something wrong with my network connection which is obviously wrong given I'm submitting this from my phone. Fix it please. Edit: Relatively quick response to my support request today. Thanks! Upgrading to a four star rating. Still needs a bit of polish, but overall happy so far.

Almost never syncs. Constantly have to reconnect, or relogin into the app, and then it doesn't sync anyway. Keeps buzzing annoyingly while charging on my nightstand. Makes me want to throw it against the wall. By default it shows the calories I burn by being alive. Utterly useless for most calorie counters. The only way to see active calories is to start a workout, which is a hassle. Workout calories are severely overestimated. I was hoping it would be more accurate thanks to a better heart rate sensor. Disappointed

Like Dave, this worked fine until today when I am now getting an error message that there are problems with my mobile network. Also clearly untrue as I am posting this with my phone and EVERY other app I have is working fine. As is the phone, for that matter. Obviously an issue with the app. I would like to reiterate the request that this be fixed ASAP.

I'm having an issue the zoom will no longer sync to the app, can't pair it, I have tried everything offered by what they call Tech Support, now no reply, 1 of 3 things need to happen at this point, the issue needs to be resolved so this zoom will pair too the app as it is supposed to, a new zoom is sent to me, or a full refund is issued so I am able to obtain a device from a company that has produced a product that works as it should. And I have been more than patient, so this need to resolved in an expedited fashion.

i still cannot figure out the logic of the following: 1. Why is location service required when the app is launched? 2. How is a VScan Record selected for VScore? Consistently, when I do a VScan around 11pm after an evening workout , the app simply won't use the VScan record. Once I crossed over to 12am and redo the VScan, the app used the 2nd VScan for VScore. Weird.. else it's decent app.

It wirked great for 37 days, then it stopped charging. I returned the okd one and bought a new one and it has yet to sync one time.

Sync issues are so frustrating.

Although an alarm can be set to wake you up. You can't set a second or third alarm to remind you of other things throughout the day. This is a basic software fix and i'm dumb-founded why they haven't programmed in such a useful function yet!!!! Very frustrating.

I was very happy with it until an update a few days ago. Now I can't open the app, so can't sync with my band.

Decent app, would be beneficial to have website access to further breakdown stays and expand on them

For the first 2 1/2 mons it worked very well with my note 4 and I loved it. But for the past week have not been able to sync. Bluetooth always says sync rejected by zoom. Also, the zoom device loses charge within 1 to 2 days. It seems broken.

I cannot make this thing work at all. On my Nexus 6P the software crashes immediately. On my Pixel XL the device refuses to sync. It's just awful. I'll give it a few more tries but it isn't stable and working by Monday, it's going back... Scratch that, now it crashes everytime I open it on the Pixel. Countless resets and returns to factory defaults. It's going back ASAP. Another day another thousand crashes on opening. Crapware. Wont run on Piexl C nor Nexus 6 either. Seriously, how can this not run on any of the last 3 flagship STOCK Android phones? Anybody at Lifetrak care? Anybody at Lifretrak have any way to make this thing work?

by U####:

Graphs are useless at the beginning of week/month/year because they don't show anything before. Instead show the last 7, 30 or 365 days for example. Also a combined graph with both vscore and vscan would be ideal.

U70%
by U####:

Doesn't work.. Unusable! Crashes every time you connect the zoom pod.. This app doesn't even desire 1 star!!!

At least there should be explanation on each figures shown on the app eg how are they derived, what do they mean etc
