I like it because it works well for view your heart rate most of the time. But, it has frozen on me a few times. The heart rate stays at the same rate for an extended period of time when I know it has changed. So, I tired turning the heart rate monitor off and on again. Then it got stuck on 72. Also, I would like it better if it also told you how many calories you burned.

No problem connecting with my scosche hrm which I got at LT. I like how it shoes which Zone I'm at and also keep history of my workout. There is one bug though, I have to email the result to myself to see calories burnt. If I check the history, the calories burnt info is missing.

Great app to keep track of your workout. Reason I didn't give out a 5 star is because for some reason, after 2 months of usage it dropped my heart rate monitor and do not detect it anymore. Still trying to troubleshoot. Frustrating!! I don't know if its my Scosche that is acting up or my app but my LT Connect do not detect it anymore. My phone and my vivofit detect it but my LT connect does not. I can't keep track of my workouts, very frustrating!!!

This app works BUT it has room for improvement: 1) There's no ability to delete error work outs, Once you hit start its logged and there's nothing you can do about it. 2) There's no editing ability . Accidentally start a workout under the wrong title, to bad you went biking despite the fact you were actually running. 3) This app will log your outdoor running BUT there is no ability or setting to log Tread Mill miles.. Come on man, you are LIFETIME FITNESS you only have a few thousand people banging out thousands of miles a day on thousands of tread mills. Runners are BIG on keeping tabs their weekly , monthly mileage. 4) Lastly, on the app there's a feedback window where you can type out "Stuff like I have here, and it asks you if you would like Lifetime Fitness to contact you. Doesnt matter if you hit Yes because nobody is going to contact you. Also workout history will only retain 1 workout per day.

It crashes constantly and then I have to restart my workout. I run outdoors and can't keep track of when the app crashes and when I have to restart my workout. Really disappointed as this used to be a great app

Sometimes it'll disconnect and I have to tell it to stop the workout and start again, also after the latest monthly Android security update the heartrate freezes sometimes even though the timer keeps going

I workout at Lifetime and I wanted this app to work, but I am so disappointed. It's horrendous, it doesn't work at all.

Can't get it to connect (or even find) the Lifetime (LT) brand heart monitor. My Garmin activity tracker can find it but not this app. I have 2 LT brand monitors and the app won't find either one. Batteries are 2 month old. Wtf changed?

I'm a personal trainer, and every time I train I use my HR monitor to track my cardio results. Also, my clients email me their results after their workout, so we can assess their results! #healthylife

1) This app doesn't work with Google Play music, so don't use it cause this app will crash; 2) If you get a new HRM - good luck. I had to reinstall the app to add my new HRM; 3) In Android 5/6, this app generates a bug crash report every time; 4) Don't bother with corporate for support, they'll refer you to the trainers that know nothing about app development; 5) LT (paid for) training use this app - so expect frustration to ruin things.

Wouldn't be a half bad app if it would stay connected after you get it connected. Constant fight to get it to stay connected just so you can start a workout. Then it automatically disconnects as soon as you click done with workout. What if I just wanted to change workouts?

Update.. it still says COMMA during time announcement. Please put a choice to eliminate the time announcement and just announce current heart rate and zone.

Functionality looks great, I'm excited to use it, but it has to work. Any ideas when you will have your next update? Last update was in December 2014 and I sure would love to use this app. UPDATE: It eventually paired with my phone. I really have no idea what made it work but it has done really well after that. I haven't had a single issue since then. Phone: Gallaxy Note 4.

You get a text message or email it disconnects from app. Glad I wasted 40$ on lifetimes junk. I have moto 360 and I thought that was terrible as HRM. Don't give lifetime any more money until they decide to fix.

I brought this strap along with a buddy and we both have problems with this strap staying connected or even being found by Vivosmart wrist tracker or the phone. It worked for about a month and now is dead. My buddy's died within a week. They need to stop selling this band and refund everyone's money who brought this this or it will be a class action lawsuit.

Won't pair with a HRM I just bought from Lifetime. The HRM pairs fine with the Vivofit. I was worried that the Vivofit pairing might be the problem but I tried turning the heart rate monitoring off and moving far away from the watch and still this app wouldn't pair with the HRM I was wearing.

S70%
by S####:

DO NOT BUY THE HRM STRAP from LTF. If you have an Android Phone, the strap will rarely work. I purchased my first strap and it worked intermittently. Had it replaced today 7/28/15 and the new strap wouldn't pair at all. I tried with 2 different Android phone (SG3 and SG4) and it would not pair. General Manager of the Scottsdale location tried to argue with me that nothing was wrong with the strap and that it was user error. I advised him to check the reviews but not to waste my time with a senseless debate. Needless to say, I received a refund and declined their offer to give me a 3rd strap to play around with. Deleting this app and using Polar Beat with the Polar H7 strap moving forward.

by S####:

Looks good and functionalities are nice, but getting it to pair and connect with a lifetime hr band requires an act of God and takes an average of 10 minutes, requiring either restarts of app, phone, Bluetooth or some random combination. Would also like to see more customization of workouts - ie removing warmup period if ive already warmed up. Also, a linked dashboard on website and integration with PT workouts would be great

Other postings on here where the hrm strap stops working - try removing and reseat the battery. Worked fine for a fix for me.

It only worked the first time with the LT HRM. Tried several times to get it to work again. I even deleted the application and reinstalled it. No Luck.

Doesn't stay connected to my Samsung s5. I have wet the strap. The app doesn't work.

A70%

I have a brand new heart rate monitor I bought from lifetime. This app will not connect with it. It worked once, then I had to uninstall/reinstall the app to get it to pair again and now its not working again. The HRM connects with my vivosmart so I know its this app. So disappointing.

There is a new blue tooth/Ant+ HRM strap I recently purchased from LTF. As a returning employee to Diamond, the technology is not compatible to each other I have the lastest update on LTConnect, Android device, and garmin vivosmart. Ofcourse, the vivosmart works flawlessly, but the strap and the smart device are not responding to each via blue tooth. I see now how this is frustrating to the consumer side of the problem, and as a former Metabolic Technician this is frustrating as well. Results based culture?

Z70%

I purchased a blue tooth and Ant strap directly from Lifetime to work with the application. Worked two times and now app does not see the heart rate monitor. Using a Nexus 6

Z70%

Like the graphics and tracking by heart rate and zones. Needs to be compatible with ant+ hrms, that should eliminate the problem with bluetooth connectivity.

Z70%
by Z####:

Terrible app! I can't believe I was talked into to buying something that takes an act of Congress to get it to pair with the app and then constantly drops connection in the middle of your workout!! I hate it!!

Z70%
by Z####:

The LT network is inconsistent and my heart rate monitor is now inconsistent. I'm going back to my old monitor. When it worked it was ok, but it needs to be reliable.

Z70%
by Z####:

Great app. I love the voice prompts and the graphs of your workouts after completion. Several of my clients use this app during our TEAM Weight Loss class.

Z70%
by Z####:

If the bluetooth connection drops, your workout tracking is hosed. The app will sit forever "looking" for the heartrate monitor. If you end the workout and start a new one it will find the heartrate monitor right away -- so it's not a pairing issue. Please fix!

Q70%
by Q####:

Only works the first time then it does not pair again with the HRM strap. To get it to work, I must uninstall & reinstall the LT connect app. It does not work well with either a Galaxy S3 or S4. When it works it is great, yet it has only worked 1 of 10 tries. Apparently the bluetooth side of the dual BT/+ANT HRM Strap is very flaky and rarely connects with a non-Iphone smart phone. Now I'm looking for a good HRM with both Bluetooth and ANT+, so I can use it with my smartphone AND any ANT+ device. I do not recommend the Lifetime HRM strap for anyone.
