Virtuele reis door Limburg
Uw reis begint in Mesch, het dorp dat als eerste Nederlandse dorp op 12 september 1944 bevrijd werd. Volg het virtuele lint langs Amerikaanse militaire begraafplaats in Margraten, het bezette dorp Montfort, de opgeblazen toren van de kathedraal in Roermond en over de Limburgse Peel waar een bommenwerper neerstortte. Na de virtuele reis kunt u in het menu de bezienswaardigheden in Limburg nog eens rustig verkennen en vervolgens zelf op pad gaan om de oorlogsverhalen te ontdekken.

Voor deze app heeft u gedeeltelijk een virtual reality bril nodig. Gebruik van een headset is aan te raden.

Over Liberation Route Europe
De provincie Limburg is onderdeel van de internationale herdenkingsroute Liberation Route Europe, die loopt van Zuid-Engeland, via Frankrijk, België, Nederland en Duitsland, helemaal tot aan Polen. De route verbind diverse historische locaties en verhalen om zo de nagedachtenis aan de Tweede Wereldoorlog levend te houden.

Virtual tour of Limburg
Your trip begins in Mesch, the village was liberated first Dutch village on September 12, 1944. Follow the virtual ribbon along American Military Cemetery in Margraten, the occupied village of Montfort, the inflated tower of the cathedral in Roermond and the Limburg Peel where a bomber crashed. After the virtual tour, you can explore another quiet in Limburg attractions in the menu and then himself set off to discover the war stories.

For this app you need a partial virtual reality glasses. Using a headset is recommended.

About Liberation Route Europe
The province of Limburg is part of the international commemoration Route Liberation Route Europe, which runs from southern England, through France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, all the way to Poland. The route connects several historic sites and stories in order to keep alive the memory of the Second World War.
