NewsCast: Listen to News

NewsCast reads aloud news from websites to you.

With a single touch, NewsCast automatically downloads the current content from the selected source of news and reads aloud the news for you. It makes reading news possible for cases when someone can't keep watching his/her device or is visually impaired.

Top features:
-- Add/remove the sources you want to listen to.
-- Extracts titles and summaries of the news from websites automatically.
-- Shows the extracted contents and keeps what is reading in the center of the screen.
-- Keeps reading even when the screen is off.
-- Supports full control of the reading, i.e. Pause/Forward/Backward/Stop.

-- Pauses and resumes automatically when a phone call is started and ended.

IMPORTANT: You need Text-To-Speech engine and the relevant voice data installed on your device to use this app. You may check it on your device in Setting -> Language & input -> Text-to-speech output.

ABOUT PERMISSIONS:
The full network access is used to download the content of the news from web. The read phone status is only used to pause the reading when a call is active.
