About [Xposed] Phone Number Fix

SIM cards come with their phone number embedded in them, however occasionally this number can be incorrect or not there at all.

This could occur when you port a number with a PAC code, or if your network/carrier doesn't assign numbers to SIM's at manufacture.

This app allows you to set/change the number in the SIM.

It does this using the Xposed framework (so that is a requirement).

This does exactly what it should for me. It wasn't a major problem i had, after porting my number over to a new contract the sim number was the 1 shown in my contacts and wotnot, and not the number i'd ported. More of a niggle than a problem. This sorted it right out though!. Many thanks to the Dev for creating it. It was just what i needed.

Awesome! Dear dev, could you please make it so the number is actually written to the chip, so even when xposed isn't active the correct number will show? EDIT: Thank you for your reply, sir. On my dual SIM S7edge if I disable your module, the old number burned at the SIM factory comes back. Is there any data I can provide so you can diagnose?

C70%
by C####:

Great app! Would be awesome if it could also: 1) change the operator name associated with a SIM (this is also editable) 2) enable the user to change two or three SIMs in dual/triSIM phones (at present it works but will only change a single SIM).

C70%
by C####:

It only seems to change the information permanently on the phone and not the SIM. Use the app change number on SIM 1. Swop out SIM 2 and phone still shows SIM 1 number under "about phone"

MAN! THIS APP SAVED MY SIM FROM BEING TRASH! THANKS! APPRECIATE IT A LOT!

Searching for it since long. Just one question can we develop an app which can do this without root access?

Associated the number at hand on a blank SIM card. 5 out 5!

I just reinstalled Xposed because of this module but it doesn't work on AT&T Mexico SIM.

A70%
by A####:

At first i thought it doesn't work with dual sim as both sim cards get changed at the same time. However there's a way to make it work: insert only one sim card, change it, reboot twice, and the other sim card won't get changed.

N70%
by N####:

Only wish is that it would support dual sim as I can only update one number.
