Intended for rooted Nook Simple Touch or GlowLight.
Should the screen become too grey because it has not been fully refreshed for a while, running this app will clear away the grey shadowing and give you a new fresh white background.
It can either be run from the Notification area where it sits permanently, or it can be associated with one of the hardware buttons, e.g. the upper right button. So if you are within your Kindle app, and the background has gone a bit grey, pressing the upper right button will clear the background to a pristine white.

This app is not pointless because rooted nook simple touches and glow lights allow you to install android apps

You have this app for Android. The Simple Touch and GlowLight are not devices you can install Android apps on. Trying it out on the HD + does nothing. If you can actually use this app on the Simple Touch, I would love to know how. As an owner of the Simple Touch, I appreciate idea. But the function is pointless.

I was having some 'artefact' issues with my rooted Nook GlowLight. Once associated to a button it quickly refreshes the screen, removing any artefacts and returning the 'paper' to a crisp white. I don't use the Kindle app, only the Google Books but it still functions perfectly either from the button or in the notification area.
