LG webOS Magic Remote

Not the prettiest but does the work and you can rearrange the layout

It helped me a lot. Suddenly the remote was not working & i searched in Google & found this app.It is awesome.

Horrible Application.. Hanging every time and really frustrating, Waste of time do not download it

Its crap turns tv on and off all by its self plus it doesn't all ways work crap crap crap

Keeps disconnecting from tv. Going through settings to continuously reconnect is quite a hassle.

i cant get it to pair with my 7 edge but can pair with the new samsung tablet?

Tak boleh connect dengan hp asus zenfone3 max kepunyan saya..saya guna tv LG webOS LF950T.. dah open tathering and dah connect dgn tv, tapi masih xdetact..bantu saya dan saya akn bagi 5 bintang kalau berjaya.

This App is great works great with my LG E6 65 Inch TV.I got the TV the other day and was looking for app to control my TV by phone this app works successfully great app.

I installed this app so that i could use the keyboard on my phone for searches in webOS e.g. the web browser, youtube and even navigating the apps and content; but the keyboard doesn't seem to work for anything. The touchpad is quite poor at navigating. Arrows on the TV remote work better. Going to uninstall. Only good thing I can say is that the syncing between the app and tv went smoothly. I recommend that the developers fix the keyboard and add navigation arrows and even voice control.

Hi, this is a cool app but doesn't detect a TV if in a different subnet of the same network. Can you please add a manual setting of the TV IP address for such cases? My TV is wired to my router, but the WiFi of the same router is in a different subnet. I can ping the TV from my phone, but broadcasts don't work. A manual IP address setting in your app would make it work. Other similar apps have a manual IP setting, but you only have a Mac address setting.

If the developer add "switch on" feature when the TV is in standby position, I will surely give 5 star. While some remote control can turn on the TV when it is in standby mode, why did this remote failed to do so. When the power button is pressed in this remote the TV is turned off to standby mode, cutting off the wifi connection. If the tv can wake up without wifi, it will be great.

Most of the features work fine, certainly gave been able to navigate the usual TV option just fine, settings, input, turn it off etc. I can't get the turn on feature to work however and discovered the reason why. When my TV goes on standby it immediately disconnects from the WiFi and there doesn't seem to be any reason for it. There's no power saving setting that would affect the WiFi so why does it just instantly cut out?

Love having notifications on my LG TV and am very impressed at how responsive it is. However! I'm not sure what causes it, but sometimes the app will drain my phone battery and sometimes needs restarting of the TV is turned off (even on stand-by)

Works like a real remote. Not an exact replacement. Some functions dont exist (like the LIST button to see the guide. But overall very happy. I can change the channel, change the volume level or kill the TV from anywhere in the house.

It works fine with my 43 inch LG LED TV but it does not have all the features of the magic remote especially those that allow you to control the set top box. Will give a 5 star if all the missing functions from the magic remote are added.

Keyboard feature needs improvement, and this app does not close apps with pointer of mouse. We use app only for keyboard feature, so that we can search anything, it should be like lg tv plus app. When input is selected on TV directly Android keyboard should open and able to send data to TV. Kindly improve this app. It is very inconvenient to enter in text box then again send data of that text box to TV. Kindly remove this lengthy procedure and make it automated.

hi.this app is perfect to make your magic remote useless! LOL. it has all the features that u need.acts exactly as magic remote does.by moving your cellphone the cursor moves on the tv if ur smartphone has gysoscope enabled.it could turn on your tv if u do two steps: first type tv mac address in the setting option of the app. second to change an option in ur tv setting named "tv mobile on" .be aware that ur tv OS must be at least WebOS 2.0 . goodluck felas

Every other lg compatible remote app does not work except this one. Text is easy to input on this screen and navigation is a little easier with the touchpad and button interfaces. and I'm able to switch on/off this tv with just my phone! Perfect remote substitute!

An alright remote, the keyboard has issued because many tv apps have their own text input field and not one it recognises (please fix). Also it lacks a "tv guide" button, which would be helpful, although it can he accessed by a different route, this could also improve the app.

I give one star because I did not see my tv in this app..It does not show ny tv even i connect with internet and connect lg connect apps is on..What is the problem pls help me.my tv is lg43lh595

It does not work with the LG web os tv that I have. Same network and all looks ok but it does not find the tv. Too bad it looked like a nice app.

No obvious way to press enter. Tapping the track pad does nothing

Doesn't work channel updown and volume updown until the channel or volume has been changed from actual magic remote for first time. 2nd time operation onwards works fine with this app

Really cool app.... This was the first app which actually worked for my LG uhd TV. But it would have been better if you could on the TV with this app

I received an email from the developer stating that he was not going to support the app anymore and it was no longer going to be work.well as of today it no longer works.

Not able to use keyboard while searching in YouTube. Showing error as text cannot send to TV in my 43lh600t model tv

Touchpad freezes sometimes. And the text to tv function doesnt work but app works for the most part

Froze phone every time when u put app in background. Why do app. Need MAC address of TV entered manually?

Didn't work at all wouldn't even open on my s7 crashed straight away so I've no idea if it would work on my tv or not
