VuTalk Uninstall

When a major phone brand does something like this, it usually means a major database hack that they couldn't control or protect their customers from..therefore, temporarily uninstalling the app and deleting the user's data along with it becomes the only fix and protection. I work for VZW, and other phone manufacturers do this too..they just usually don't make it so obvious. If you are patient enough, you will see that a newer, better, faster, safer version will emerge and there will be an explanation.

This LG is the worst of all android phones I ever used. It restarts eternally, does so many confusing automated operations and is hardest to effectively root services. What on earth does LG precisely want from consumers? Or is it google play?

Who at Google has the right to do what they feel is best for me and MY phone? They didn't pay for it, they didn't work where i do to earn the money to buy this phone. I sure as hell do not go to their website and change it to my liking. It wouldnt be that difficult to do. Im sure they would lock me up if I did, so why are they not being imprisoned for what they do. They are in cahoots with the MAN. YOU SUCK GOOGLE

An app no longer being available is one thing, but taking away an app that was pre-installed on the phone that I purchased is simply unprofessional. Now the overall functionality of my LG G2 has been slightly compromised. Now I hope I can reinstall VuTalk and lock it so that it can't be removed unless I want it removed. Also, the license agreement for this uninstall app was bundled with the QuickRemote app... Why, LG, would you do that? Keep them separate! The IR blaster is one reason I bought this phone.

Don't really know what's up. Liked the app and it was different than other phones at the time. But to just take something off a phone without my permission, ehhhh wrong. Makes me wonder what other kind of information this company may have taking through the programming for this app. Or viewing and selling. Sheisty business practice Google play services and LG. :(

I do not know why this needs to be taken away. I enjoyed this app a lot. I do believe when my wife and I purchased our LG G2'S this was the first feature we used and loved it. Once we realized how it worked and messed around with it, we then decides we purchased the correct phones. I am very saddened by this. Is there another app in this store that is the equivalent of VuTalk? If so, please let me know!!!

Why is this just now popping up? Apparently this happened a year ago, did you schedule it to delete everything systematically every year despite my having never used or heard of Vutalk? Very annoying getting an uninstaller forcefully installed onto my phone for a service I never used or had on my phone.

Idk this app but I don't like that my apps get uninstalled by themselves. Like everyone said, lose support for it or replace it but don't force uninstall something like this. It really P.O. People when something they like where they feel they own it to a certain degree. Don't pull a "gun ban" where people's rights gets messed with and not have a voice of themselves.

Never used it, didn't know it was even on here. I'm very concerned about this claiming my personal data was destroyed considering it's still here and won't go away. Obviously you still have control of my camera and many other functions. Who or what are you watching, waiting for? If it's inoperable get it off here entirely and quit jerking off.

I don't even know what this is, let alone how to use it. Why do we keep getting forced apps on our phones? I would like the freedom to install an app that I actually use... If you're gonna force the app on our phones we should at least be able to uninstall it. Such a waste of space

I woke up one morning, checked my phone, saw the apps were updating themselves as usual, then all of a sudden an app starts uninstalling itself! LG, if you want to uninstall an app you've made, that is your right. I don't mind that. Just let your users know before doing so!!

My information was stole as soon as I signed up for this app. They say its a serendipitous event and just happened to happen. I don't believe it. Also preloaded app that takes up too much space.

I just upgraded my phone from an Iphone to the LG G2 because apple wasnt allowing for any customization or personalization outside of wallpaper. This really defeats the purpose of my upgrade. And I thought Apple was a control freak.

It uninstalled on its on. Why even introduce the uninstall till July if it was going to uninstall automatically. LG just assumes their customer like the automatic upgrades and auto uninstalls. After the automatic upgrade my phone has not worked right. I can be talking to some one and a error comes up and cuts off the call. Next phone will not be a LG.

I just bought a brand new phone LG 60. MetroPcs just released it a short time ago. I still have to download this update. It should have not even been in the phone with the new model.

You delete something off my phone? I didn't use this but still, this is my phone and I should get to say what goes on and what goes off, seriously! Bad LG!

Okay, I never got to use this at all and it ALWAYS seems to be "uninstalled", but whenever that happens, I can download nor update any other apps for my cellphone and it's really irritating. It's always saying "Cannot download due to memory shortage" or something like that and I have like more than a hundred MB right now! If this happens to everyone else because of this I need to figure out how to properly remove it for good. It's not fair that I can't download or update anything and have to resort to reset

Right. Fair enough, LG wanted to discontinue the app and delete all of the associated content. But now that it's done that, why the hell can't we delete the uninstall part too? Absolutely stupid.

Im sick of running low on space because i have stupid apps i never have or will ever use. I even baught the most exspensive SD card, thinking my apps could go on there. But No! The a#% at best buy dint tell me that my androids a p.o.s. and that i cant install apps to my sd card

Why? Its awesome! Allows me to talk to my husband and interact with him when i don't see him for days!

The 30 day trial came with the phone, it didn't work all that well, n it's caused nothing but issue with my vm since. Would LOVE to remove this! But evidently it can't be removed, which is ridiculous!!!

Automatically updated to install an uninstaller that can't be deleted? Stop putting this unremovable crap on our phones, manufacturers.

I just bought this phone yesterday and this little lg piece of a pathetic phone and worth having but they want to charge people 59.99 at radio shack. I walked in the house and eveybody fell out out on the floor laughing as they were using there iphones and im trying to find some glasses so i can see the screen on this microdot tiny little screen why would you put out a device that. Will fit in my ear almost. And the keyboard is so tiny it took me 20 min just to type this so im guessing vu talk for that. Wel

In any case iy was taking up memory, I never used it so in my opinion there was no reason to have it on my phone. Thank you for removing an app that wasn't necessary.

Not well now so its not a good one for me one or my hands your voice but mostly hands and I not but I enjoyed the times I used thank you

Oh no! How dare you uninstall an app on MY phone that you have all the rights to!!! You all sound like whiney children! Get a life and move on! No one cares about your rants. I am personally thankful they actually removed one of their life wasting useless bloatware of my space.

Maybe about a year or two ago I had this same phone. This one is my daughters it's the LG optimus and I use to use vuwrite all the time it use to show you in your contacts who else's phone was compatible, ish sucks now! Just a waste of space now!

The app is useless and I'm glad it's being uninstalled. A little creepy it was remote like this but the app uninstall is stuck at halfway. Can I just get rid of it? It's a waste of space!

The whole reason I got the phone was to have vu talk and it never worked and this just takes up more space that's so limited by other pre loaded garbage thanks for nothing

Don't despair too soon. I'm still going to buy the G3 as its still better than the competition. Don't pull a pre-order just cause of one tiny feature while there's so much more on the G3 than the rest. I'm sure they are going to come out with a new version so they are pulling this one to prevent conflicts.

I've never used this app because I don't know what it's for? My phone is so overloaded I was going to uninstall it until I read the other reviews please tell me what this app is and how you use it? Please! Thank you, Julie

Don't know what it was it said deleting data, but my dialer looks the same, what ever my life rolls on,

Wish I'd of went with my instincts & Stuck with Samsung forever. Have 3 3D Smart Tv's,the Galaxy Tablet & all prior smart phones where too! Can't waite until term is up,hoping Galaxy 7 will be available sooner than later,Cant waite for the day! LG2 keyboards ALWAYS locking up leaving me unable to type??? Not HAPPY. Only awesome feature is back button picture feature!

This sucks i freakin love VuTalk yall make something great then delete how smart is that only makes me wnt to go out and find a phone which provides something similar! I even bought a pin just to use VuTalk are u guys going to reimburse me my $5

First my MMS quits working (issue is still not resolved) then my screen quits working about a quarter way down, the touch doesn't show up on a half inch of the screen, now LG gets rid of a usefull service before it's scheduled uninstall! Hah and to think I was going to get the G3! No thank you! LG is a joke! I hope that in the meantime, while I'm still toting this paperweight around LG comes out with a better app that allows us to use VUTALK features with other manufacturers phones! I can't wait to lose LG

This is a huge set back. I bought 3 LG phones instead of Samsung Galaxies just to get the Vu Talk feature. Join me in emailing the developers.

I already deleted this with es file explorer. First phones have too much bloatware, and now not enough? This was a novelty app and not needed in any way. Thank you LG!
