LG MirrorDrive

Works great. It was intended to reduce phone use while driving while giving basic functions such as calls, text, and music. If you feel you need to put the lives of everyone around you at risk by using tons of other apps in a non-hands free environment, this app is not for you.

I am the passenger of the vehicle. Why do i have to be limited on usage while charging my phone. There needs to be an option for passenger like there is on the waze app. Which brings up another issue. If i am the one driving i cannot use my preferred map ap as it is more up to date on road conditions. Big fail here.

"...only the functions user might need in a car." But doesn't offer Google Maps or 3rd party music app...that is function #1 and #2 for me in the car! Please fix! Uninstalling! Also why is text allowed but not GPS?? Not a safety app like others have said...texting and driving is so unsafe it has been deemed illegal in some states!!

Beyond basic and already does what my car can do via Blue tooth (music, making,phone calls, messaging) on top of that it's pretty clunky. I want an easier UI and Google Maps

This is a piece of hot garbage. There's a very good reason that this is not a piece of technology that will continue into the future and why there are fewer and fewer phones that use MirrorLink. Preventing access to any features on my phone, preventing charging, or anything really while the phone is plugged into this piece of crap has provided zero usefulness and only managed to anger me in the 10 - 15 minutes that I've spent trying to use it. It's a complete fail. The USB that is supposed to allow me to charge my phone hear is utterly useless because I can't even see if my phone's charging or not as MirrorLink takes complete control of the screen and won't let me back out of anything to where I can even see my amount of battery life. Good job guys complete waste of my time in space as well as a waste of your time for however long you spent trying to develop this junk.

Horrible garbage, wish I could give zero stars. Takes phone hostage. I can not even charge phone in my Subaru. I will be uninstalling after this review is submitted

Dangerous and Useless... There needs to be access to other music apps and Google Maps. Without this, there is no benefit save for fumbling around a convoluted interface that gives you the same functionality your car and phone provide without it. Fix or cause accidents. It is your choice.

So the only way to navigate with this app is to install the (paid) app from MirrorLink. Is LG being paid for this? Ridiculous to not allow Google Maps to be displayed on your dash.

Great concept, terrible execution. It needs support for a few more apps, and some customization settings. Honestly who uses the stock android music app? NO ONE DOES, make it so it works with Spotify, pandora and others

This app is completely useless. If it allowed use of there apps besides the default three then maybe. But honestly I have no use for this app.

Dear LG. Your driving app includes texting. Not only is texting while driving dangerous, it is now illegal in most US states. In addition, you have left out maps/GPS, something that is almost exclusively used in cars, in favor of texting. Baffling. I have submitted a complaint to Google over the texting.

Should have ability to select apps that show. Limiting to text, phone, and music is mostly useless. Systems that support mirrorlink usually already support BT music, phone, and texts

Last update my car recognizes this as an app not safe while driving, and defeats its purpose. I haven't updated my firmware on my Honda so please fix it.

My bluetooth in the car has these fuctions already. LG needs to make this aplication FULL MIRRORING so that I can play YouTube or use Google Maps or even Yelp! Wish I had an HTC or Samsung so I could use DRIVE LINK.

Not working with Samsung note 5 ( Dubai) to connect to vw ameo car system with mirror link. Although Samsung c9 fully mirrored..

This app is garbage and completely useless. Don't waist your time downloading.

Let the user decide what he needs in the car and not 4 basic apps.

Bad 3 apps while plugged in it will not allow any other apps.

It got rid of voice to text and replaced it with t9. Actually fumbled more than when I just hit the microphone button and did voice to text. How to undo?

Once updated to android 7.0 (nougat), my phone can't connect to the car's headunit. Please fix it!

Lg developer please fixed this app so we can mirrorlink the entire phone. You not allowing the physical bottom at the bottom to be touched when mirrorlink is enabled...

Well i use this app in my s7 phone it helps me mirror entire phone apps in hu. Make it available for all mirror link devices

Why wont LG v20 work with this app?

No options to configure new buttons. I need a car mode that lets me use my gps and music apps.

It was working perfect but stoped working after android 7 update. Please update the apk. Samsung a7 2017 with Suzuki Ertiga.
