LG TV SmartShare-webOS

Needs updates - many times my computer doesn't even show up on the list of devices and I have to restart it multiple times to get the tv to detect it. Also the connection is not very stable across all formats. Sometimes the video just quits. Windows 7, pls update it as it's actually a brilliant TV.

Its the fourth LG TV app I've tried. All of them have failed to connect to my telly. LG needs to clarify and sort out their mobile apps - what works, how it works, and what doesn't. It's a mess.

Crap. I connected my phone to the same network and didnt work. Its unbelievable how a company that earns millions of dollars cant develop a simple app. Dontwaste your time.

Horrible video sync. It fails everytime. A simple mp4 will not play after initial connection. Never have these problems with Roku. Using it with 55UH7650 and my Moto X Pure.

Bad. "An error occurred" message is given all the time. This is between an LG G4 and an LG TV. If LG can't get this to work between their own devices then what's the point. Can't give more than 1 star for something that simply doesn't work.

Bcs of their stupidity I will just return the dumb tv I just bought. There is nothing smart about lg products. Got the tv and now they messed up this app, right before terminating it!!

Poor navigation when connected. Buffering issues even for 1 min videos. Need to select each content individually and navigation and controls are painfully inconvenient for videos and photos.

So you refer people to the LG TV plus app. But that is discontinued 2/28/17. This goes well with my three defective LG g4s and Nexus 5x.

My galaxy s7 should be able to connect. Wait it only works for LG phones. You need to fix that problem.

Junk! Connects S7 Edge to my LG 55" but when clicking on the dlna link for my device "Unexpected Error Occurred". Time after time.... What a waste of time! Deleting!

Its real easy to use but Ever 30mins it shuts down and i have to start the video all over again

It does as described , no problems so far. Really makes easy to watch content on tv from desktop pc/ laptop . So far , loved it !

Installed on my Sony Xperia Z5 to display on my sister's New 55" LG Curve TV. Works great in displaying my pictures and HQ videos.

I was hoping that it would allow me to screen-mirror. But it doesn't!

I cannot connect a Samsung Grand Prime with the LG web IS TV LF6500, very bad app!

I think not apps a compatible, you just have to find the one that works for you

My tv is able to find my phone but my phone can't find My TV. & wen I click on my phone icon on tv it says unknown error.

Works perfect when you read about how to use it come all u rocket scientists u have the retard knowledge to make this work come on my iq is 75 and I can use it fine ok I program but still not hard look at ur tv what do u. Need to do activate mircast, connect tv to phone not phone to tv. Only works one way, easy u will be fine I'm not support

The app does exactly what I would expect and effectively streams from both Android Lollipop and Marshmallow. Unfortunately, LG's intended successor for this application, "LG TV Plus" does not fare as well. Would advise not cutting over to LG TV Plus until fixes are released for that app.

Can even control tv volume from phone. You don't have to be in the same room for the functions to work.

Dont know about the app as the LG tvs are unable to play soo many formats. Inconceivable in this age of integrated media

Loved this app please don't terminate. Just bought LG tv this was the only application I was able to stream from. Leaves no other option but to sell tv and switch brands

No file Foundation on TV. Cant conect

I used it greatly and loves it as it was the only app that could stream all supported formats to my ub85xx. Now we're left with streaming solutions that don't allow most files to stream and this final version won't even stay connected for more than 3 minutes before it just stops connecting to the tv, don't know which update killed this app, but it makes me sad.

You guys are absurd... all you have to do is make sure your TV and phone are on the same wifi and that's it. Simple as ever

Loaded app on Samsung Note 4. Fired up TV and was instantly watching pics from my phone. Amazing!

Doesn't find my LG pf1500 projector, even though the projector instructed me to download this app

This app is awesome it works on my Nexus 9 and since it doesn't have miracast it is nice. I don't know why they would terminate this app.
