LG Smart Laundry&DW Global

Worst service ever! DO NOT PURCHASE their products. I use an iphone so after purchasing my lg washer & dryer I called their support line to determine what I needed to purchase for the feature to work. I was told, and proceeded to purchase, on 3 separate occasions 3 different devices. Each time I was told it was a different reason the feature would not work. I was never informed the app did not work in the US and was given no resolution.

LG forced me to upgrade from LG smart Laundry to LG thinq app. Now my brand new washer (2 days old) doesn't work with this app or the new one. It tells me device is not supported. Thanks for nothing. Bring back this application

To wash clothes, I have to install smart thinq that has access to all my contacts, personal photos, files, sms?! If lg values their longtime customers and want more of us, better focus on giving us a better easier experience than intruding on our personal info. FYI I uninstalled all lg apps including smartworld!

Asked you to download another app that is not supported on my smart device. Tried on my iPhone, asks for your details, only then you discover it doesn't do washing machines despite my washing machine having tap on facility. Sort this poor app out LG or allow people use the older app.

In order to use it, I need to update LG Thinq app...and that application cannot be installed in my country. So now such applications (that are suppose to be support for the product) are not provided to all nations. Good work LG!

Broken. Makes you install newer app. Why is this still on the app store? Developer tried to help but my washer dryer isn't compatible as this app is now redundant. This is the perfect app if it was still available!

It says new app required, but I can't install ThinQ in my country. You should either allow this app to work or globalize the new one. I have never seen such ugly support for devices advertised as smart things :(

Downloaded the app as instructed to be greeted with a FORCED update that wants to data mine your phone just to use ADVERTISED functions from the sale. Forget it, innovation doesn't require privacy invasion LG

I liked this app until I've been forced to use thinq which doesn't have the option to download new cycles to my washer. Also the messages on thin q look like xml coding which isn't user friendly!

As per other recent reviews app DOESN'T work. The machine I bought doesn't have a wool or silk programme which I use a lot and I was relying on being able to use the app to download the programme. Wouldn't have bought the machine if I'd have known!

Forced to install LG smart thinq which does not support my washer / dryer F-1612DBGE. This will be a false advertisement if it does not support smart diagnosis

This app is dead and requires a new one to be installed. New version doesn't support my device and won't even install. Now to use my new washing machine I guess I need an Lg phone as well (and it's not included)?

Terrible, annoying, time consuming and not really working. Originally, I was so excited to buy my washing machine and loved the idea of downloadable programmes. First disappointment - you can only download one at a time; you cannot choose a set of programmes that suit your personal needs and keep them in your machine. Ok, never mind, at least it works. Today, when wanted to use the app, it prompted me to upgrade. OK. Little did i know that the think would not even open. After several tries and reinstallemnet it wants my stupid LG id or create an account. For god sake, i just want to do the bloody laundry. It shod be a seamless experience! The app is useless. Without it, the machine has less choices than my old good AEG (and to be honest, does not even wash that well). I regret my purchase and will stay away from the brand in the future. Btw, writing this from my partners android, because of course, the app does not work on iphone at all. Jana A.

Why are LG getting away with selling the tag option on their washing machines when they don't work! Why do they need to know all the details on my phone....contacts, photos, email settings etc....maybe selling on information for more unwanted junk....is this how they make money now.....disgraceful

I used to love the option to wash any load in an hour! Now it takes forever to get through my washload. Come on LG, give us an option to chose which app we want!!

I can't get to create an account. Can't see the terms and conditions page and the Agree button is gray and unclickable. Very bad start. I even tried to login with my Facebook account and reached the same endpoint

This app is outdated. Download smart ThinQ instead

Total rubbish for non wifi units, they force you to upgrade to the ThinQ app which isn't compatible with older NFC only units...So the 'downloadable cycle' feature is crippled, idiots!

This upgrade is too bad. Some option has disappeared and app so slow. Bring back old one please.

When I run app it says that I need to download another app which isnt avaliable for my country. I expected this from b or c producer but not from LG. Again great job.

The photos aren't match when you open the app. The app asked you to download another LG app, and this app isn't used. But the other app you have to use. It says we have to upgrade the LG app, but it has to be. And this app couldn't be used. Useless, dude.

Let people download 30Mb just to tell them, that they need another 50Mb, just to tell them it won't work with root.

Waste of time and data. When opened, asked for another app to download. If this app is not working, why don't you unpublish this app. Really dumb developers.

It's not working in Motorola x mobile. When I opened this it's routed to download another LG product. Plz Don't download this app. :(

I can't register my product because my cell phone doesn't have NFC.. I can't believe LG haven't though in a work around for this scenario

I downloaded smart thin Q app , and It's up-to-date but when I run this app it still tells me to update my thin Q, I don't know what to do

Will not work with Sony Xperia 2 tablet.

Worked fine until it forced me to get the new app, which doesn't run on rooted devices.

Where have all the cycles gone this is ridiculous the 1 hour cycle was brilliant

This app is deprecated. They will refer to lg smart thinq app. So dont waste time download this app.
