Lezyne GPS Ally

I have tried for hours to get this app to work on two different Android phones and on an IPad. It pairs, and once downloaded rides to my phone, but only once. The Bluetooth connection between the GPS and devices just does not work. Legume need to do some work fixing this for people to take these products seriously.

Just bought this because it looked like a decent product. But this thing does not pair at all. I'm not sure if it even has a Bluetooth radio... I tried four or five phoned and my computer just to check. Nothing!

It worked until the end of 2016, now it won't sync, won't connect. I don't connect to it during a ride just afterwards to upload my data, now it doesn't work. Frustrating.

Lezyne managed to sell a 200 Euro (Super GPS) Device just to decide to stop maintaining it after 12 Month. The connection between phone and device is unreliable. The software itself feels poor, just as the device. I just wanted to give lezyne a go but they failed in so many ways. I recently switched to a garmin 820 and it is worth every euro I spend more. The money I spent an the lezyne super gps was one of my greatest failes. Thrust to lezyne as a brand: Completely lost.

Not impressed, never know if the power gps will upload the ride, countless rides missed now on strava. Followed tutorials but to no avail. Frustrated isn't the word.

Does not pair to Andriod devices. Period! Do not buy. "Buy cheap, buy twice". I ignored this advice when purchasing this technology. Hours and money wasted with the only solution to perform batch uploads of activities to Strava - what a faff. Going in the bin when I can afford a Garmin.

Clunky and won't connect to Bluetooth properly. Not ideal and much easier to just use Strava and upload directly from a phone.

Can't get my Lezyne to consistently link with my phone app. Contacted support and reset Lezyne, but still didn't work. Very frustrating!

This is a stupid app!!! Then it connects then no connecting with Note 5. To be very poor product compaire to Strave!!! Please fix this low quality product!!

Not pairing on my y9 super gps... I think it has a problem on nougat or something

Bluetooth doesn't correctly. Reconnect doesn't work between mobile and computer. Reconect between ble devices and computer doesn't work correcly.

Good. Would be nice to see temp in °C instead of °F while still using miles.

Good for importing data from Lezyne Super GPS. Only displays the data of latest ride even when viewing older rides. Graphs need work.

Will not pair with HTC phones.

The app doesn't show my recorded rides, it says no files on the gps. Even the notifications from my phone. Kindly fix this problem. I cant upload my rides to strava.

It pairs to my phone no problem, but drops the connection at some point during my ride almost without fail. Being on call at work, this is a big problem since I don't receive call/text notifications on my Super GPS once the connection between unit & phone drops out. If this issue is corrected, it gets 4-5 stars easily.

App is simple to use and when it works it's very good however I have never completed a ride without loosing Bluetooth connectivity. Pairs without problem and have uploaded all rides to app again without issue once I have reconnected my phone with the gps. Sort this simple issue and it's 5 stars from me.

Bluetooth connection is very arbitrary, won't always connect to phone first time and 9/10 times will lose the connection before the end of a ride. I also find downloading via Bluetooth troublesome often require multiple device and app restarts before they sync.

Won't pair with my Huawei p8. Pairs for few seconds then drops out. The phone settings lists the power gps unit as paired but the app won't stay paired. I've updated everything very frustrating!!!

App is fine, does what I need. I don't pair during rides so can't comment on that, just use it to upload rides & sync to strava. Sure wish the super gps would get a firmware update though. The "distance zeroing out randomly during the ride" isn't the greatest.

Repeated failure to transfer data. "something went wrong" caption. Tried restarting device even reinstalled the app several times. When I have managed to transfer it then will not sync. Update, I managed to upload two rides, the display and information is brilliant but I've tried a new ride today but the app just refuses to download the data from the device. I'm better off reverting to using the Strava app on my android phone.

Phone must be re-paired to the GPS unit nearly every ride. Often loses connection during rides as well, prompting an alert on the head unit.

Got latest app and Y9 unit firmware (Dec 2016) but it still won't pair 95% of the time and the other 5% when it pairs it won't sync rides. Resorted to using a micro usb and laptop to get rides onto strava. Real shame coz the unit's really good.

Head unit will pair with phone but then no device available in app. Tried step by step. Uninstalled unpaired numerous times with no joy.

Does it sync a ride once completed to cloud only over WiFi? Over 3G it does not work for me but Wi-Fi no problems. (I can't even log in with my credentials over 3g)

Buggy, lacks features and no update will be done as Lezyne is focusing now on year 10 models. No firmware update, no gps root update, no mobile app update. If you need an update buy a new device... or check other brands!

Works well most of the time, love the ability to upload at the end of the ride without a PC. I've occasionally had difficulty getting the device (Power GPS) to pair over Bluetooth, but always managed to get it done with a bit of mucking around. One complaint, the automatic strava share fails every time. Not a big deal since I can just go to the share menu and select strava, which does work perfectly. Would be good to see this fixed.

So far connecting the Power GPS with my Galaxy S3 is inconsistent... for the record it worked briefly before the latest update. I did contact support via email and have not gotten a reply yet. UPDATE: support has been emailing me with updates. They've been very responsive. Still have things to work out, but theyre trying. Thanks!

It only worked a few minutes. Its just hangs and it doesnt play when other things are connected via Bluetooth to the supergps.

Does not pair running Android 4.4 on lenovo yoga tablet. Briefly pairs via settings, but via the app it does nothing.
