Buddy Tag

I love it, no problems. I just will love to buy just the battery, but it looks like they only sale with the wrist band. Otherwise is great for me .

Worked the first day. Now it connects, after I try about 10min, but panic button or alarm does not work. (Huawei P8)

Absolute garbage. Could not even detect the buddy tag on either android or ios, making the whole thing useless. Do a little more r&d before releasing such a bad product

Sees the tag but doesn't connect

Works on my wife's note 2 but not on my note 4. I can see the tag but cannot connect to it.

Will not let me connect to it so it's basically useless.

Had one fora a couple of years now and liked it but since upgrading to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge the connection to the tag gets broken causing an error in the app making stop communicating with the tag. Contacted the company from their site so hopefully it is something they can fix.

No option to even add a device! This makes the app and the buddy tag useless. Tried unistalling and reinstalling and nothing works. I've emailed the dev and waiting to hear back.

Constantly dropping signal.

We used this at disney world and LOVED it!! (New bands that we bought in Jan 2016. Used on Galaxy S5 and on iphone 6.) No problems at all opening the app. Alerted us a few times when the 3 year old wandered off a few feet and we didn't realize. Gave us peace of mind. Why 4 not 5--We did get a few false alerts when he was right beside us. Had trouble connecting one of our bands a couple of times, but did work soon after so that could also be a phone issue.

It works pretty well. I tested the distances and they all work as advertised. The panic button is great. However, you have to have the App open for the device features to work. It will not run in the background. So if you use your phone for anything else (ie, Facebook) it closes out the App and all the features. You have to open App again for it to work. Consumes a lot of battery power

Using a samsung s5. The reporting is not accurate. It only reports distance on a straight line. Misleading picture of a radar. Maybe the IOS app works better. This app is not well developed.

The app won't open most of the time. Sometimes it shuts down or disconnects. When it does decide to work it doesn't give an exact location. This needs to be reliable. What's the point otherwise? It would be great if they could iron out the kinks.

Crashes once I try to connect

Now the app keeps crashing. I downloaded it twice hoping that it would work, but no luck.

Wonderful idea, unfortunately unreliable. Seems mostly fault of the phone suppressing bluetooth or notifications or both. Will be returning I think.

It can only work on one phone at a time. I have tried to connect my phone and my wife's phone but it doesn't allow you too. Only one phone my be alerted. That's a HUGE draw back and major issue for me. Thus needs to be corrected and then they may get another star

It worked well with my Samsung S5. I bought it for our Disney trip. It was a back up for just in case.

Got two for my kids for our spring break vacation. I tested them with my kids at the beach, and they worked as advertised.

It doesn't connect at all and keep kicking me out of the app . I have a Samsung s5

This app doesn't work right on s4 and I have to shut my phone off to stop it.

Can't even connect it on my app... it keeps crashing!!

Garbage

I live in Alaska and use this app for my 2yr old when we go out hiking camping or fishing. Its a GREAT APP!!! I've never had a problem with the set up or testing the distance I set. Even when I tested the use of the panic button it alerts me every time! The email alert option sent me emails for all tests I did. I have a Motorola phone and this app still works great on my droid phone. I love this app!! It's A MUST for anyone with young children!!

I am able to do initial setup up with 2 buddy tags. However if there is any interruption, like a phone call or text, or if the tag goes out of range or a panic button is pushed, connection is lost and I can only connect again if I reboot my phone and even then it only reconnects about half the time. The other half it doesn't seem to be able to locate the tags. Very disappointed because we are heading into DC tomorrow and I really would have liked to use these.

No one ever answers this company customer phone. Their app doesn't work with just any phone and patches are way off in the distant future. Just disappointing.

Only compatable with Samsung phones

The tag seems sturdy, and I love that it's now waterproof. The app, however needs some serious stability work before I would trust it to help keep track of my child. The app crashes constantly on jellybean 4.3, and intermittently on kitkat 4.4. There are icons that seem to serve no purpose. Also, Customer service does not respond to calls or e-mails.

Good reliability

It was easy to set up with my Samsung S3. Love the water safety alert. I use it on my kids whenever I'm in the patio grilling, just in case if my little one jumps into the pool when I am busy flipping burgers.

It works great on my husbands Android phone! The water safety alarm is a life saver!
