Oriente Occidente Miti Simboli

Fin dai tempi più antichi i contatti tra Oriente e Occidente sono stati la via di trasmissione di elementi culturali che hanno permeato entrambi i mondi.
Attraverso le vie carovaniere sono penetrati nel nostro mondo simboli e miti che hanno influenzato la nostra civiltà ma, ugualmente, l’Occidente ha arricchito l’Oriente. Due esempi: la diffusione della cultura ellenistica fino all’India e oltre, e da Oriente icone quali la montagna sacra, l’albero e il serpente.
