The Robo Buddy

It's great, When it works! I use it in my office as a camera to be able to see the front door from my office so I can let people in. It's so irritating to have to constantly reconnect it. It just drops the feed all the time for no reason. Really, really frustrating. If this didn't happen all the time, I would give 5 stars. It's at the point now that I'm considering finding a different option.

Having issues logging into device. App loads the login screen momentarily, then restarts app.

I'm a 36 year old man and I can't stop playing with this. With practice I can dock the car every time. Range can use some improvements. It everything else is great. Good battery life, good video quality, and I think most of all it seems they put a lot of thoughts into designing this little robot. I haven't found any bugs yet. It's very reliable and fun.

When it works it's fun, but connection issues plague this possible 5 star app. WiFi connection is great, but the app continuously states is a weak signal regardless if its sitting inferring of the router. Using it through the Internet on 4glte and it won't work!

App is almost complete...only missing standby mode for camera and blue flashing LED lights that currently cannot be turned off which waste charge-discharge cycles even when docked. Otherwise everything works as advertised and even better. Though there is no Roombaesque auto-docking, sturdy dock design makes for easy docking even when angles are not perfect and even in the dark. Camera is ONVIF compliant allowing for 24/7 NVR recording. Works equally good on local network as well as remotely.

Having major issues setting up the app with the robot, even after running through the steps multiple times. The app has a string of errors which disconnects me from the Robot

Could be more user friendly. I can't seem to change the time. It's 2 hours ahead . Also keeps saying connection is too weak even when using same WiFi. Tried it using 4glte and if wasn't connecting very well. There should be more settings available. Hard to change the internAl WiFi password

My robot is amazing. Now I can screw with my cats from anywhere! Video recording software cuts in and out though. Hope they fix it EDIT: LTE connectivity issues are fairly constant and its got to be an issue with the software because my LTE connection rivals my cable internet in bandwidth and ping.

App set up confusing. Your smartphone can't be connected to Robo B and Internet at same time (as far as i can tell).

Thoroughly fun toy and mobile security platform. All features work fine. Better than some pricier high end cameras with audio features. Even the cats are used to it.

Horrible app, disconnecting issues , everything about the robo buddy and the app is horrible . thank goodness it was a gift an I didn't spend money on it !!

I like it because it was simple to use and when I was confused about connections. The manual walked me through it, also their customer support was great. I used it farther then it said with a direct connection. I also used it from Florida in New York with an Internet connection.

This is not a child's toy. It's a seçurity camera that can be piloted from anywhere in the world. Think of it as your own spy drone in your own house. Just to check on things.
