eos for Android
The remote is pretty great as well. Arrows are better than the vague touch pad the more expensive app has. Switching views is nice too. The ability to convert seperatly over mobile networks comes in handy once in a while too, like during peak network times and I insist on listening to 24 bit flac. I like the EQ too, way better than the piece of crap in my head unit.
Early impression is that this app is a great pairing for J River Media Centre (the best media player and library organiser). The sleep timer is a useful since that function stopped working on Media Centre for me. Nice easy UI, responsive and functional. Unfortunately there isn't a list view of content, only thumbnails.
Application is fast, and definitely way better than built-in Gizmo However, the developer does not answer emails at all, seems like the application abandoned. There are bugs.. Sometimes it cannot connect, some albums could not be found
I wasn't able to play on note5 . It would crash when I change zones (DESKTOP to Note 5). Sent email to developer couple of weeks ago but no reply
Much better than the free Gizmo app! Easily worth the money. Features I would like to see added: Option to pause playback upon receiving a call; Lockscreen and tray controls. Highly recommend this app.
Loved it!! Of all the apps available for jriver i would say this the best!! One request would be please update it frequently. And if "songs" tab be included under the audio tab it would be awesome.
Crap!
Great app! Just one thing with the volume buttons on a tablet, the volume jumps by 2.5db each press. Can it be made 1db?
Keep up the excellent work!
Looks good...instructions on set up are very lacking otherwise it's good. NO CLEAR EXIT OF APP GIVES IT A 3 STAR RATING. hangs up in my notofications...I have to restart my phone to get it to be removed...that is stupid.
Hi, on my Galaxy S7 Edge, currently playing doesn't show time played/ remaining, and the slider has no effect navigating the time
Ele exibe todas as capas de minha coleção, mas diversos álbuns ele só abre em pesquisa específica. Fora esta falha, a interface gráfica e estabilidade do App são boas.
SOOOOOOOO pleased... Best I've found
Using this on a smartphone is a tad difficult though, best for tablets with a 7" screen or larger. Well worth the money.
Nice layout and look, using it with j.river directly is flawless. Only con is when using it with Chromecast it will often just stop playing, happens 1out of 3, times when playing video s of any type. Other apps like Gizmo or BubbleUPnP rarely have this issue. Hope it can be remedied.
gizmo was the weak link in my setup,to the extent I was ready to bail on j River entirely. this app saves me. I just wish I knew about it before now. it should be the official Android app, or at least J River should let us know this exists.
It might not be as pretty as jRemote, but it works far more tidily
Like it but when playing an album ripped as a single file with a cue sheet it plays the album as a single long track despite listing individual songs.
Jriver crashes when I run first time after boot.
Smooth app, the only way to control your music.
Well designed, reliable and fast.
Controls jriver offering a lot of flexibility.
It was be very nice to see in future searching by folder options. Keep up good work.
I've been playing with both EOS and JRemote, and both are big improvements over Gizmo, but I'm still undecided which of the two I like best. Advantage JRemote--library views as either thumbnails or lists. I can't find any view in EOS except thumbnails. List view is important for classical music with long track names. Advantage EOS--the ability to re-size thumbnails. On JRemote the thumbs may be fine for a phone, but on a tablet they're tiny. EOS also has some other cool functions like the ability to reorder playlists, and the ability to turn on/off JRiver Media Center on your PC from the remote. Anyway, both apps work well for me. If JRemote would let me re-size thumbs I'd call that a winner, and if EOS would let me view lists as well as thumbs, I'd call that a winner. Actually they're both winners and which you like will probably depend on how you use a remote. -- *UPDATE* JRemote has just added the ability to resize thumbs, and the EOS developer tells me there are no plans to add "list view" of libraries to EOS. So...looks like JRemote will be my most used choice.
Just downloaded the latest version, and the app crashed when I tried to reopen it after being away for a moment. Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
No complaints, always works, looks fantastic, really like the remote power on and off of my pc, runs smoothly and quick response, BEST OF ALL is the frequent updates and improvements!
This app just keeps getting better, and I appreciate the developer's continued attention to detail.
I only have one issue. I can't get the app to show a custom view I have set up. Any ideas how to fix this? Edit - I got this fixed yesterday, Thank you Lenworth Rose. It's now a well-deserved 5 star app.

Has/is all what Gizmo never had and JRemote should become to be..
Developer responds quickly and there are steady updates made! Well worth buying!
I will try to describe this app without sounding crazy, but here goes. If JRiver control apps were women, Gizmo would be my ex, of whom I was very fond, but Eos would be my wife who I would keep forever. This is well worth the purchase price.
Can't tell you how I have waited for, a good Android app for JRIVER'S awesome media software for PC, Mac & Linux. EOS gives you the remote you deserve. Try it free then just buy it. No regrets.
Works great with multizone JRiver HTPC setup. Highly recommended accessory for this or any JRiver setup. Nice work, thanks! Update: file info in latest update is a great new feature. Thanks!
Way way better than gizmo and well worth the money if you like to control jriver from your phone. Lots of useful features!
Impressive app, have used gizmo and bubbleup and this beats both by a wide margin! Great UI and features! Great Job

Latest version much cleaner design. I like. The only thing I can't figure is how to shuffle all of my music at once?
Massive upgrade to Gizmo!

Tried Gizmo and didn't like. Found eos by accident. Been using it for several months now and really like it. Great companion App for J River Media Center 20. It's reliable, easy to setup and use. Have it installed on both my Galaxy Tab S2 and S3 Tablets and eos works flawlessly.
