Medicalog for Families

With three little kids that get sick a lot, I needed an app to track their symptoms. So far I really like it and have paid for the upgraded app so I can add notes. I would, however, like a way to get a report with the notes I wrote. And the add a custom symptom still does not work.

Ideal for recording frequency of illness/injury which is ideal as I have a terrible memory and a clumsy toddler! Can you add the ability to add photos please as could then attach photos of injury e.g bruise, so we keep everything in one place? Thanks again

Great app! Super easy to use and look at history . My daughter has an immune deficiency, and gets sick quite often. It is very difficult to remember every symptom and how often she gets sick. This helps me accurately the report symptoms and illnesses to the doctors.

Great idea, sucky app. This app would be awesome - if it worked. It won't allow you to add your own treatments or symptoms even though they provide a box to do so, there's not a way to actually enter it. It doesn't show what you've entered on the saved page for added treatments. It Froze at first use.

A bit primitive, but it does the job like nothing else will do. Paid version has all the features you could want. Thank you for making a non-flashy and functional app!

Really great app. It sounds amazing. If I could get the app to stop closing on me. With about 20 trays and 2 days I've only gotten to my symptoms and I get halfway through that and all the sudden the app closes. Very frustrating! I can change my review once this is taken care of. I'm really excited to use this app. It will help me alot.

I paid to be able to add time stamps but it won't show the time stamps for medication doses. I am very disappointed.

You take the time to fill in the info. then you need to pay to put notes in. After you are done and you try to access the info to look at it, you can't. You have two choices and both are to add extra info. Where's the info I already added ? Do not waste your time with this app

I am having trouble adding entries in the treatment section. There is no enter or submit button so it doesn't get saved or recorded.

I have been looking for an app like this. I was looking for a headache tracker but with this I can keep track of all my issues for myself and my family.

Can you login to the app from different devices? I have two children with disabilities and lowered immune systems. It would be great if I, my husband and our babysitter could have access to the logs. So we can keep everything organized and all.

This is a very good app. I bought the full version as I wanted to be able to use the full works. However, it will not accept an image to my profile! Which is the only major issue so far. Otherwise it's good, useful and comprehensive.

UPDATE!!! I finally heard from the developer, and it seems there were email issues from the app that have been fixed. I also received my money back. Again the app didn't work for my needs. It did seem to be a good app just not what I was looking for. I am not rating the app itself. Since the developer was so nice and I was impatient I upped my rating. Happy Holidays!

Be sure you click on the tiny plus sign part of the symptom or medication if you actually want to include a time when you report something. Would give 5 stars if it would remind you when it's time for another dose of medicine (like ibuprofen for fever) ETA: can't enter custom info. I can type it in but no way to save entry (enter button just acts as carriage return)

Promotion ended really fast had to pay to continue to use and see records ive entered. Not happy with that but its the only app ive found to keep family records

Can not enter a date for symptoms/treatment etc. I can copy to previous day, but trying to log something that happened a week ago would be a pain, let alone a year or more ago.

Despite contacting support and following suggestion it didnt work. U cant do much in it unless u upgrade

I can now see the patterns of pains and hopefully will be able to pinpoint the causes.

You have to upgrade and purchase the app, nores should be free, especially when u only have a.selected amount of data in here. The idea of this app is genius but to charge for adding nores is crazy

Good so far! Wish there was a way to track more detail (dose taken of meds, etc), and still trying to figure out how to get reports of my data, but pretty good so far!

Disappointed, will not allow to create new entries. Every detail needing to be added in notes only.

I like most of the features but please fix it so we can input medicines by time, so doses are tracked. A medicine reminder feature would be helpful too.

No attachments, asks money for every feature

I opened this app yesterday morning when I was filling out paperwork prior to my son's appointment. I put his insurance info in the notes section, and I needed it. When I got to the appointment, I opened the app again so I could list his meds for the nurse, and EVERY CATEGORY; meds, surgeries, allergies, were replaced by his insurance id number.I know I didn't sit here and change everything. Do you know how long it took me to enter all that information? I won't trust this app again!

It does a good job tracking basic info. It would be nice to have more choices for illnesses, or even to be able to write in if what you want isn't listed.

I just downloaded this app at 4:31PM (it's now 6:36PM). I have health conditions and wanted a good app to track everything daily per drs orders. So I found this app right as I was having a flare up that needed to be documented. I created my profile and went to add a note for today and it keeps telling me the free promotion has ended and I need to upgrade to add a note to a day, timed symptoms. I can't do anything and I don't want to pay for a product I can't even test for a few days let alone a few hours

Useful app to maintain family record ...but can improvise the interface access.... Overall a good app to easy tracking of medical issues...

I tried to use the trial period and it said it was over and I need to upgrade I just downloaded the app (same day ), and if that's how it's I don't know if I will use it since it starting to have problems already

Has been quite a useful app. The only thing that stops me from giving 5 stars is I have to pay for backing up my records. Backing up is an essential thing to have for an app. Upgrade is a whole different story for improved versions or more added value functions, not in saving or backing up the records especially when it comes to medical stuffs. Hope u wld consider putting in the back up or saving of records.

I have downloaded several medical journal apps and this one seems to have more features than the rest. I have upgraded to the full featured version with support. Pros… 1. You can enter your symptoms, medications taken, doctor visits, procedures performed, preventative actions taken, and personal notes for each day. 2. You can copy all your entries from the previous day so there is no need to type them in again. 3. There is no cloud storage and your information is kept private (which is a huge plus in my opinion). 6. There are hardly any permissions required in order to install (i.e. ID, contacts, etc). Cons… 1. The upgraded app only has separate reports available (Illness, Medications, and Other procedures). There is no option to export via .csv (excel format). Support, said they will be fixing this in the near future. 2. The app is currently only viewable in Portrait mode (which is a pain if you use an attached Bluetooth keyboard case). Support, said they plan on adding the landscape option. 3. The font is small and for many, reading glasses are required. 4. No option to backup to SD card. 5. No search feature. 6. No option to record how many doses of medication are taken.

Simple to record, even when you have sick kids around!

So far it's good I can add my and my boys. But I have a problem getting the full app so reminders will go off etc....

This will not use symptoms to make diagnosis and there are a lot of symptoms and conditions missing. You can't add details to most conditions even in the paid version (ex time of day first reported). Limited colour selection for tracking a family. Overall it sites what is expected and not much else, and that's ok

Love this so much, after using it for 3+ months the only tweak I'd love is to be able to install on another Android device and access the records across the two devices... After adding a Samsung Tab2 I don't have access to the months of records I have on my Galaxy S2. Other than that, LOVE this, it's come in handy for many Urgent Care, ER and doctor visits for me and my hubby for our constantly ill 10 year old!

This is a good app to log the day to day medical issues. I have purchased the app.

Very neat and easy to use app. Took one a paid version as I like the ability to assign times to medication (great for keeping track of what medicine which child has had and when). I had a question on the app and submitted feedback via the in app feedback tool. The response was thorough, clear and extremely fast.

I got the app to keep track of meds after surgery. I love the app but for post surgery med tracking or input at work it is a bit cumbersome. I would love to have a few quick icons to hit to input a commonly used med. I would also love a dosing calendar to show when my next dose is due.

I really needed this app and to find that it would s as easy as this is just makes it that much better!!
