*Default notification mins. can be changed at 'Settings'->First option from the top - via the physical/software based button at around the bottom of your phone. It is a pro if you set the widget as well, this should make the things for the notification agent more smooth. Or you can update yourself manually via "Refresh".
However do not worry, there won't be more than 3-5 news/day, in general.

*Worth to put the widget/module (which is re-sizable from now on at least on ICS and especially by Apex - who is also one of our kind partners -) onto one of your dashboard pages as this would handle the newspuller functions with ease. Just click onto the widget's small icon ("TAP!") to jump into the app anytime or scroll through the item titles - dates - by tapping onto them. (The newest content summary will return to the first 'page' after a screen on-off, restart, news in, etc.)
