Shield Basic - Ontario is intended for Police Officers, Conservation Officers, MTO Officers and law enforcement student but can also be used as a reference for lawyers, legal assistants and the general public.
This is an all-in-one phone application that will provide up to date legislation and information, and will also function when tower or internet access is not available. The database is downloaded onto the phone and when an update is available, such
as when set fines are changed or new legislation is enacted, the database will be updated automatically. Your subscription must be current and valid for the database to be updated.

Work as a park warden , we are seasonal and laws are always changing. shield basic makes looking up laws and regulations easy , fast and accurate with short term, long term, set fines and points when applicable . You can save favourites for quicker look ups . You can flip through pages and try and keep on top of changes or you can get this app. For me, it was an easy choice in saving time. Money well spent .

Love this app... Use it every day almost, while all the old timers sit there flipping through books. Love the search feature. I had it on my iPhone and now Samsung Galaxy. For the people having trouble switching phones, go to the shield basic website and there is an option to transfer your licence. Only thing I hope they add at some point is the fuel tax act.
