New iwellness for Android
Lot of bad reviews here. That being said, I don't know how accurate any of the info it gave was. No issue with connecting or calibrating. App could use some aesthetic updates and customizable avatars, but that's about it.
App works well and device connects without issues for me. There are A LOT of spelling and grammar mistakes both in the app and this description from the developer.
It doesn't connect to any gadget I have even I followed all the instructions. It's 20th century and do we still need to be a rocket scientist to use this app? God. I hate all the folks behind this creation.
It does not work for Droid Maxx. Very sad because I am on a weight loss journey and ordered for new year. Will this be fixed soon?
Useless! I can't get it to pair with my phone! FIX it...
I think this app is great. Haven't had any issues other then the default user picture is male even when you have female selected in your profile. Love that it tracks all of my body statistics. Have raved about my scale and app to family and friends and they wanted to try it. Don't know why others have had issues. Only thing I can think of is they didn't follow the connection instructions correctly. User error is usually the cause of 95% of problems people have when dealing with devices or machines. They don't want to take the time to follow instructions correctly. I have had no issues and love my scale and the app. Thank you!
It does not work with Android ZTE Zmax pro. It only did sync the first time with a lot of problems. Waste of time and money. The only thing I can get from the scale Branded Poshei is get a weight reading. None of the other features such as BMI, etc... Does not work with out the app.
So before you guys all complain about the app not.connecting, or the app.not giving you the right figures, let's pay attention to what device ya'll are.connectong to. I'm using the THXY scale i got off of Amazon for £22.19 after discounts and promos and the device was a pain to figure out how to connect to it at first as the directions are not very clear, but i.dont know if this will work for everyone... 1st, your scale should be calibrated properly by being placed on a flat even surface that you plan on keeping it at. Then just step on it with a foot a little bit until it powers on and then remove your foot. It's pressure activated, that's why you do it that way. Once it powers off, open the "New iWellness" app, create your user profile, and then keep your app open and step fully on the scale, front and back of foot should be firmly touching both metal plates on each foot. For the THXY scale I've got, it reads my weight, then flashes the number a few times, then flashes a few bar lines while it connects to my device and uploads the data. Then I hit yes to accept. If your souls are too wet or dry, it will absolutely not read properly if at all. Hope this helps some of you.
Crappy Christmas gift. Doesn't connect and the scale weight is hundred pounds off.
The app works fine but the type is sometimes difficult to read as it flows on top of each other.
Work well no issues. If only I can change profile picture, I would have given 5 stars.
I was hoping that the app would sync to Googlefit. That seems to be my central fitness hub.
Doesn't connect to the scale
Does not connect.
I love this scale
I got a new pixel 2 and now this app will not sync. I have no issues connecting to anything else, so I do not think it is my phone. I am still looking into it. Pretty disappointing. My old iPhone works fine, so I am using that to store data for now. Hopefully they push an update soon that allows you to manually connect the devices or something
Problems connecting to Android phone. It keeps disappearing from my list of Bluetooth devices. The only way I can get it to work is to: 1. Open the New iWellness app 2. Open the Bluetooth setup menu 3. Step on the scale 4. When the scale device appears, tap to begin pairing, then hit back button to go back to the N iW app 5. The app will eventually show connected and prompt me if I want to save the data. This takes a long time and should be easier. I would give this 4 stars if they resolved the Bluetooth issues.
Perfect for monitoring health on daily basis. One small gripe, the x and y scaling on the chart are not fitting the screen properly only showing one reading at a time. Would be better to be able to view all historic readings at the same time. Phone : Mi Mix
From a UI design aspect, the app suffers tremendously. It is not well designed. In regards to the accuracy of the data from the scale and app, it's horrible. First time I stepped on the scale it measured 14% body fat. Second time 21%. Third time 18%. At the gym using the grip reader, I'm at 12.7%. Sending the scale back and removing this awful app.
It works better on IOS. On IOS I can step off the scale and grab my phone and it'll pair great! On this Android system (I'm using the Note 8) it doesn't pair correctly unless I am standing on it with my phone in my hand.
Works fine on the Samsung S8+, and connects easily to the scale. I deducted one star because the instructions are poor. It's a bit trial and error to get it to work the first time. I enabled all the permissions it asked for.
It connects with my old android Galaxy4 phone just fine. Scale itself only tells weight, and need App to get everything else. It charts weight and BMI, and does not let one chose the 2nd category nor enter waist measurement to make BMI anything other than a height/wt ratio, which is highly inaccurate for athletes.
Works, but pretty mediocre. Have been using for a couple of months to help keep track of my weight, but I need the measurements in another app and it only allows simple text exports so I did most of the transfers manually. I noticed a couple days ago when I needed to wipe and refresh my device and was exporting data from all apps when I discovered that this only exports SOME of the records, and not even the most recent ones. FAIL
Worked the first time I turned it on. Now says it couldn't pair...because of incorrect passkey/PIN. Looked all over, can't find anything about a passkey or PIN and eventually a P1 code pops up. None of these are in the FAQ page.
I had to give it access to my location to get it to work even though that had nothing to do with saving my weight data. Super sketchy
My android phone had an update this week. It now connecrs to both my android phone and my tablet so I WAS satisfied until I checked "weght loss history on the app. It showed the same weight every day. My weight had been up and down. Also, I would like to see compatibility with my fitness pal or something similar.
Doesn't work with Galaxy Note 4. Tells me have to turn off overlay, sends me to settings to turn off 'Draw over other apps" for all applications, which is ridiculous. No idea how other functions worked, as I never got into the application past that point.
Its missing buttons for weekly, monthly and yearly reviews. There's a lot of continuous manual zooming out which gets annoying. It has terribly clunky UX. Got slightly frustrated using it. Edit - Last update just made it unusable. It doesn't pair with my phone anymore. Its just a normal scale now. Don't buy this product.
this is awful. It only uploaded my first weigh in, now it won't upload the rest. it won't even pair. this is awful.
I had to go to the app info to enable all the app permissions such as system storage to get the app to work. I hope this helps and who can't get it to work!
Returning this junk back to Amazon. Won't pair with this stupid app
Doesn't seem to want to work with my galaxy s6 edge. Any chance of sorting this?
Still getting conversion from pounds to stones wrong!
Doesn't sync work popular fingers apps Google health, fitbit, etc...
Scale won't pair to my Asus phone since I updated to andriod marshmallow. Help please.
I am not very technical but I am slowly getting used to this technology. I am hoping it will get easier as I go along. The scale is great snd quite light in weight.
This app dropped a year worth of data. Zero benifit.
Used to work on my phone, now it doesn't connect! Keeps telling me to disable "draw on other apps"
Glitchy. delete asap. s5 galaxy. 0 function.

This is the worst app I have used in recent memory. It reminds me of how android apps were in 2010. I'm actually returning the scales I bought because this is the only compatible app. I can't stress how rubbish it is. It really is horrible
