About Lefebure NTRIP Client

Connect to a high accuracy GPS or GNSS receiver, stream DGPS or RTK correction data to the receiver via NTRIP over the phone's Internet connection. Log NMEA position data from that receiver to a file on the SD card. Make NMEA position data from an external receiver available to other Android applications.

Note that this application requires the Bluetooth Serial Port Profile to connect to a GPS receiver. Bluetooth SPP is not included in all Android devices.

Permissions Needed:
INTERNET - Used for getting correction data from the Internet.
BLUETOOTH - Used for connecting to a Bluetooth device.
BLUETOOTH_ADMIN - Used for pairing with a Bluetooth device.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - Used for writing NMEA data to a text file on the SD card.
ACCESS_MOCK_LOCATION - Used for routing external position data to other applications.
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION - May be used for sending location to NTRIP caster instead of using data from the external receiver or a manually entered lat/lon.
IN_APP_BILLING - Used for the subscription for the premium features.

Lefebure has literally changed the way I survey. No more car battery and tripod shuffle for me - it is so easy now to use public, commercial or even your own NTRIP base (safe and secure at your office). Can save you thousands of dollars by doing away with a dedicated base station receiver. I've been using it for 3 years now, and it has a couple of minor quirks but has generally been bulletproof. Thank you so much, Lance. You're extremely generous to the surveying and farming community!

To the person with GGA problem: set up your device to send GGA via bluetooth. Or in app settings, set your Location to manually entered, not from device.

The bad reviews I saw are from people that don't understand what this is for. This is NOT for use with your phone GNSS.

Can it work without using GPS Rover? By only using the internal GPS of Cell phone?

Works perfectly with either a subscription NTRIP service such as Smart Net or with my own fixed base station

Very good app. I've set it up to work with rtklib and it's great. The only issue I have is that some apps won't accept the location from the mock provider this works if I use Bluetooth GPS. Tested with mobile topographer.

Samsung have removed the menu button on the S5. I'm currently unable to enter in my NTRIP caster connection details.

Have tested with multiple platforms and works great. Would be nice for the auto GPS location to work on my Samsung galaxy s5.

hi I have set up the software and connected the device to my tablet through the bluetooth, but at the last step it says "waiting for GGA from receiver" and doesn't produce the data. Could you please help me to figure this problem out? thanks

Used with a SirfStar-III BT GPS, seems my fix even gets worse - on map my location starts running here and there. From other users' remarks, I feel I have something wrong, but cannot figure it out. Missing a step-by-step guide with explanations of settings.

Any future option to send rtf over adhoc/ WiFi direct from moveable basestation? I have many areas with no data connection. No cell service.

I was able to make this work within minutes after installing the app on both my HTC Thunderbolt and Samsung Galaxy Tab. Very nice and great solution for those with good cell and data coverage on their mobile devices. Thanks!

Would be great if it can use built-in GPS or manually input coordinate.
