Sahih Bukhari ist eine Sammlung der Aussagen und Taten unseres lieben Propheten Muhammad (salla Allahu alaihi wa salam), auch bekannt als seine Sunnah. Die Überlieferungen dieser Sunnah nennt man Ahadith (sg. Hadith).
Imam Bukhari wurde am 13. Shawwal 194 AH in Bukhara geboren. Er arbeitete mit viel Anstrengungen und Fleiß daran, die Ahadith des Propheten (salla Allahu alaihi wa salam) zu sammeln. Jede einzelne Übersetzung dieser Sammlung wurde von ihm bis ins kleinste Detail auf Korrektheit der Überlieferer überprüft. Die Sammlung von Bukhari wird von der gesamten Ummah als die authentischste Sammlung der Überlieferungen über die Sunnah des Propheten Muhammad (salla Allahu alaihi wa salam) anerkannt. Sahih Bukhari is a collection of the sayings and actions of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam), also known as his Sunnah. The traditions of the Sunnah called hadiths (sg. Hadith).
Imam Bukhari was born on 13 Shawwal 194 AH in Bukhara. He worked with a lot of effort and hard work from gathering the hadiths of the Prophet (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam). Each translation of this collection was reviewed by him to the smallest detail for correctness of the narrators. The collection of Bukhari is recognized by the entire Ummah as the most authentic collection of traditions about the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam).
