Hews for Hacker News for Android
The only missing feature is indication wether I've upvoted something. Maybe the timestamp should turn orange when upvoted?
The scroll-down floating button is a fantastic feature. You can hold firmly your phone with the thumb on-screen. Very ergonomic and easy to use! Plus, the whole app works perfectly. Thanks!
● no bullshit intuitive UI. ● can open HN links system wide. ● dark mode
Great app! Love the button that allows you to scroll down!
Good, well designed and fully functional.

Good one. Best Hacker News reader I've stumbled upon.

Great app. Keep it up!!
For me, that is! I wish I could blacklist stories, based on domain, like they do with me (I'm looking at you, New York Times...)

Love the fonts
Hi! Thanks for responding to my last review about top stories not displaying in the same order as on the site. I understand you put an emphasis on speed. I'm curious though if the minor speed increase is worth the inconsistency? Every other Hacker News app I've used on iOS or Android is consistent with what's on the website. I could almost understand favoring speed if the stories in the app were loaded in the same order every time (even if that order is different than the website), BUT the fact that every t

Doesn't respect the auto rotate setting
Beuatiful visual design but UI needs major improvement, it's not clear when you click on a headline where you will be taken - the actual story or the HN comments thread. (Hint - clicking the headline takes you to the comments thread, with not clear/easy way to first read the story). There are much better readers out there, but nice effort.
Press vs. Long press is ingenious. Floating drag button makes scrolling effortless. "Popular by Time Range" is a great way to catch up. My main frustration is that app should scroll as far as Hacker News API and website returns articles. Instead, for example, "New" provides a sublist from the head then stops. Ideally, this list should go on "forever".
Thank you. You could still add feature to reverse the long tap to open link.
Clean UI, like the idea, no complaints. Scrolling with sound rocker crashes app. M8 6.0
Great app!
Please remove the hold to scroll thing and change the long press short press to access comments/links to something else. I love it but can't use it because of these issues. Also the DPI of the down arrow hold thing isn't correct. Lastly, why is it called hews?

I absolutely love this app! Only thing missing is a widget.
Would like to be able to change font and font sizes. Also an option to get rid of the hold button would be great. Else, it's a great app!
Thanks! You're the best!
perfect. simply have it all.
App is normally great but this latest version gets stuck and can't scroll or click anything
This is my favorite HN client. Only wish it had landscape mode support for my tablet.
I've been waiting for years for a good HN app. Finally found it. It even lets you show the best articles from an arbitrary date range. That means you can catch up anytime!
Tried 4?+ other hn apps, this is a clear winner
Pretty good and getting better.
Really like the flow of the app, everything is easy to browse and click with one hand. Great UI!
Comments are working again. Really like the amoled theme
Nice App For Hacker News with themes great recommended keep it up dev
The best with fast and smooth UI. Search works great! Small request: Is it possible to add bookmarking and page to view saved HN links with date and number of comments? Searchable on saved links would be great too. This would save time having to share to Evernote which has too heavy UI. Thanks!
This is a clean, nice looking app and the UI works pretty well. However, it seems fundamentally broken. Every time I refresh the "top" news, I get different results. Additionally, the current #1 thread on HN is not listed under the "top" view, even though it's only a few hours old.

Yes! I've been waiting for this.

I like the design. But it still can't match up to one of the other clients. Reloads every time you go back to the homepage. Comments are difficult to distinguish between. I think it has promise but has a few quirks that really throw me off.
