About Conjugating Spanish Verbs
Learn Spanish verb conjugation through concentrated practice with this tool for non-beginners.
First design a conjugation round by choosing Spanish verbs and tenses from palettes, then practice by conjugating each verb + tense + person combination as it's presented. Easily enter Spanish characters á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ and ü by twice tapping a, e, i, o, u, n and y respectively on an English language soft or hard keyboard. A Show Me button is available if you're ever stumped.

From within a verb palette taphold and release a verb to see its conjugation tables for these simple tenses:
• present
• preterit
• imperfect

• conditional
• present subjunctive
• imperfect subjunctive (ra)
• imperfect subjunctive (se)
• imperative (positive)
• imperative (negative)
• gerund
• past participle
When you're designing a conjugation round, the tenses palette offers those simple tenses but additionally lets you add the following compound tenses through the Progressive Surprise and Perfect Surprise features:
• present progressive
• preterit progressive
• imperfect progressive
• future progressive
• conditional progressive
• present perfect
• past perfect
• pluperfect
• future perfect
• conditional perfect
• present perfect subjunctive
• pluperfect subjunctive (ra)
• pluperfect subjunctive (se)
During actual conjugation practice you will need to stay connected to the internet.
You can also drill verb definitions with a matching exercise that presents a clue (either verb or definition) and lets you to choose which item from a list matches that clue. Tapping the clue pane reveals a correct match.
Also, play the Crack'em game, available from the Options menu, where you'll guess hidden verb infinitives in a challenge to your knowledge of Spanish verbs, conjugations and definitions. See the help document for instructions.
If your device's TTS engine has a Spanish voice installed, you may elect to add a voice to your exercises from the Settings page, but note that while infinitives and most conjugations are pronounced accurately some conjugations may not be.
