PocketFinder Android for Android
A total piece of junk. App is also garbage. Support is virtually non existent. You have to send them an email describing your problems and maybe they'll get back to you a day later.
This is great. Have special needs child and this product worked for four days without recharging. The only thing is it only works on my iPad can't seem to be able to get it loaded on my android.
I use this for my father, who has Alzheimer's and a tendency to wander. While the interface isn't the most intuitive, the system is effective and not too pricey.
No idea what's going on with this app but the locations hardly update. My apt uses this so we can take the shuttles to campus and I would like to know if the shuttle is close or if I'm going to have to wait outside for an hour since the app doesn't update locations.
Once I opened the app for the first time it asked me the username and password... What logic is this? How do new users use it?
For new users it doesn't show the sign in page... How can I sign in is I am a new user ????????
For anyone who does not understand how this product works first you need to purchase the PocketFinder a small GPS transmitter and then you download the app and then activate it online this is a great product and the company has great customer service I would recommend this to anyone

Just got this 2 days ago for my autistic son. Been testing it on myself from app and Internet. Interfaces are a bit glitchy, but it DOES THE JOB!
Cheapest app ever i have seen bcaz this app has'nt option to make user ID.
Thank you for this update. The service is very good. Now I can control the power mode via the app. This has come a long way. Thank you.
It doesn't let you log in so do yourself a favor and don't download it

Idiotic app, cant create user login, dont know whats in there, the only thing it shows is lost password and after clicking on that it says cant use web data
My father is currently on his second transponder. The original one didnt even last a year and of course the warranty is only for 6 months. My fathers new transponder already started acting up after about 3 months. The app doesnt work as well on my android as it does on an ios, but for the price its good enough
Downloaded latest and now I can't log in. Says "Bad Request " I know I am putting in the right user and password. Heck, I even reset my password. Still "Bad Request " now I have to email support and wait for their response. Ugh!!!

I use one of these for both kids and my dog and we just added one for my 84yr old dad that wonders off.. Ive also talked with IT from this company and they were very helpful

I've been holding off reviewing this until I could get a proper amount of usage. After an initial activation problem which the support team rectified for me by email alone, I've got this working in the Toronto region. Its never roaming and the monthly cost is reasonable. Its working fine and I'm glad to see the app being updated frequently. If another device was created that was smaller and could be used as a wrist watch, I'd grab the new product in a heart beat. Keep developing this.

This is great for executive protection details. Place the Airlandsea on the car and this on your principle

They will never cancel your service, you will have to go through your credit card company and a huge hassle, no working phone numbers no online chat and no email support, you buy you pay and that's it. DOES NOT WORK IN CANADA
I decided to buy a Pocketfinder to put in my child's bag. It goes where ever he goes. Finally something that gives me a piece of mind. I love how the app will text and email me when the GPS is out of a safety zone or has extended the speed limit. I can always check up on him and know he is safe. The way the world is these days I believe every child should have some kind of GPS on them. There are some features I would like to tweaked the app a lil, like reviewing the history in more detail. better alerts?
I am using the vehicle locator. It works but I have the following issues with it. 1) I am using it plugged into a 12 volt cigarette lighter-type power source (not the actual cigarette lighter) in the trunk of my Mercedes which has power when the car is running. It always indicates 100% charge but after a short time, it powers off (NOT sleep mode) and takes a considerable time to re-acquire the GPS when the car again is moving. 2) The information provided on the dashboard, history page, etc. is inadequate. I would much prefer a route indication like MyTracks or CardioTrainer provides. It's difficult to really see a day's route and have a clear idea of what occurred during the day. That said, it could be a great app if some additional development work and enhancement was done..
Using their separate GPS device I can find my car anytime.

My device has been locked in sleep mode for 36 hours and customer service can't figure out how to get it unlocked along with several others they said are having the same problem. Don't waste your time and money.
I wish it would show your location in relation to the pocketfinder location. Also, all settings should be changeable via the app. I have to go to the actual website in order to change settings. ***UPDATE***: Worst customer service ever. They used to be great, but now you can't get through to a real person on the phone. The only way to contact them is via their website and email. It took me several days to resolve what once took me only 30 minutes when I first had a defective product.

App and online settings are vastly different and no indication as to when they will be in sync. Hard to tell what settings have been accepted (App or online version). Customer service is lacking. I've gotten better service from a Chinese GPS that I purchased to test along side of this one. It has more functionality as well.
