I did install "Weather Connect" app, and I tried to connect to Weather Underground using "Weather Connect" app. I did not try to use "La Crosse View" app to connect to Weather Underground, I was just merely mentioning about my problems with with "Weather Connect" app in the "La Crosse View" app review. So, "Weather Connect" app. It does not work. No matter what I try, no matter how creative I am, I cannot get past "Network Settings" screen, which I get to by clicking "Set Device WIFI" button. I welcome the development team to contact me if the help is needed to test either "La Crosse View" or "Weather Connect" apps. I do like the weather station, it is stunning, but the apps "aren't there".

Is it true the weather station model C84428 is not Weather Underground compatible? A list of WU supported devices would be extremely helpful. I can set the wifi network using this app on the C84428 but I'm not prompted for my PWS ID after that. :(

When I first used this app to connect my weather station to WU it worked perfect. After 3 weeks I lost power to house and tried using app to reconnect station to my wireless network without success. I did factory reset on station and reinstalled app a couple of times and still cannot connect. Contacted support by email and still have not heard anything in several days.

Worst ap ever. Claims to be the way to connect to Weather Underground but will not allow me to enter the ID and Password required to link to my WU account. Indeed, won't allow me to enter ANY of the information it requests. All fields are already filled in and if you click on them to enter different information it GOES TO THE NEXT SCREEN! Don't they test this stuff?

Just doesn't work. Wants password to connect with wifi to which it's already connected. Got it to register with WU once but it never reports. Like all LaCrosse weather products I've tried, it kinda sorta works, but it's mostly just infuriating. Sent support request last week but haven't heard anything, even am acknowledgement of receipt or a ticket. It's all terrible.

Won't connect. I'm on 2.4ghz network and this app simply won't connect. Why is it separate from the lacrosse view app anyway? This is absolutely infuriating! I am the Skywarn coordinator for sector 1. Will inform all spotters in the sector to steer clear of all lacrosse products, it's that bad!

It just, simply, does not work. After having spent HOURS of following their instructions, resetting everything, making sure it was on 2.4GHz, following their FAQs and reading their Forums... I'm going to return the entire system I purchased. I wanted to post my information on Weather Underground, but it simply doesn't work, and there is no way to share, publicly, your station information. Their other app has just as bad problems, and serious UI UX issues as well, and is also extremely buggy. I am severely disappointed. I bought the La Cross View, Professional Remote Monitoring Weather Station, C84428 and was using this with the Samsung Galaxy S7.

Got solid wifi icon after enabling guest wifi network with a password. Seeing connected on the wifi, got its MAC, still nothing. 3 hardest setup steps! Terrible apps.

I finally got mine to connect to the Wi-Fi. I would personally register online and then finish in the app. If you are having problems connecting to the Wi-Fi first go to the station and press the plus and minues signs together and hold until you hear a beep. Then you will see the Wi-Fi flashing. Then on the app enter your PA to your Wi-Fi to get the station to link to the app. Once from there you will be officially connected. And will see your station pop up on Wunderground. Have not had any problems since.

This app does not allow you to choose your Wi-Fi network it chooses it for you. Then it will not accept the password and connect. Absolute junk. I would have expected a better quality app from La Crosse.

IT is a part of my business, both this and the related La Crosse Weather view are not worth the bites they are written with. Bought LC Pro PWS to get on WU and had nothing but frustration getting hooked up to Wi-Fi. Am certain that am on correct gz but over course of 3 days at different times and reset of router, have had no luck. Timer starts, circle, circle, circle - like dog chasing tail, then goes back to start menu, again & again & again - like dog chasing tail . . . . no reason given, no error codes, no indication of why it cannot connect. Oh, am positive of correct PW, use it enough that burned in memory but have double checked anyway. Returning the software is easy, not so the PWS as was bought as gift months ago, no receipt and did not think to keep packaging.

Terrible instructions. First off make sure station is plugged in to AC power as it does not connect otherwise. No errors alerts, etc. Too basic without instructions.

So what's the deal with this app? Needs to connect to WiFi to work but won't connect. It tries once unsuccessfully and then crashes.

For whatever reason this app would not connect to my WiFi even though it had the correct SSID and password and the device it was installed on was already connected to my network. Going to Uninstaller this app.

Works as it claims , had issue at first because im already hooked to wifi in setting up my S84060 display so lil hickup but taken in stride. Working since day one of install????

As everyone else says. Worst ap ever. Worked the first time,then never again making my weather station an expensive piece of junk.

As many other people say it works the first time but if you lose power to your display it will never connect again

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I have followed the instructions to the T but mine refuses to connect to the Wifi. Don't waste your time or money.

Within 15 minutes of receiving my LaCrosse S85807 I was connected to my router and had submitted my PWS to Weather Underground. 24 hours later it was visible on Wunderground and continues to work great after a week.

Cannot even connect. I put in my WiFi information and that is as far as it goes. Stuck in a black hole. Tried to restart all devices. Ugh.

The most stupid is to still sell the product that as a defect can't connect to wifi. I was fetring frustrated yet after seing all the reviews realized is the app no me. I am at 2.4ghz, but doesnt connect. Not oncem

Horrible app! Followed the poorly written instructions and still will not transmit data to weather underground.

I PURCHASED THIS WEATHER STATION FOR MY HUSBAND FOR A GIFT AND TRIED TO DOWNLOAD THE APP TO NO AVAIL...I INSTALLED IT AND UNINSTALLED IT BECAUSE I THOUGHT I SCREWED UP SOMEWHERE BUT ITS THE APP THATS DEFECTIVE..YOU CAN'T GET PASS PUTTING IN A PASSWORD...SO FRUSTRATING..ITS NOT WORKING AND IM NOT RETURNING IT AS EVWRYTHING ELSE IS FINE EXCEPT TRYING TO GET THE WIFI PART DOWN..LACROSSE NEEDS TO FIX THIS..ITS RIDICULOUS AND A WASTE OF TIME TO MESS WITH IT..

Will not connect to Wi-Fi weather station and sensor work fine but the app does not work at all

La Crosse needs to get it together, will complain through Costco

App does not recognize my router key in setup and is worthless.

After first time connection it dropped, won't reconnect. Frustrating.

I bought a new router and this app won't connect to it so I can't move my weather station to the new network. Please fix this, I don't want to wireless connections just so I can broadcast the weather.

Finally found the way to publish my S84080 data! Setup went as advertised, WU displaying my stuff within the hour.

Tried the Android and Apple versions of this app and neither works. Also tried the app on a 2.4ghz network with same result. Going back to Acurite.

I can not comment to my WiFi with the app, therefore the device is useless

Nothing wrong with it. Must use 2.4G access point though.

The first time I used this app to connect my new model 330-2315 weather station to my wifi and the internet it worked fine, the process was simple and smooth. Then, after inadvertently disconnecting my weather station monitor from power and losing connection, I could not get the app to reconnect the station to my wifi. multiple tries including reinstalling app and factory reset of weather station did not work. Hopefully they can work out this bug soon because the weather station and outdoor sensors otherwise seem to work well.

Cant get connected keeps saying app has stopped

Every time I put in my router password it crashes. Restarted phone and still crashes.
