Sync for reddit for Android
Best Reddit app I've ever used. Simple and looks great. Has native media support, so images and videos virtually never need to open in the browser or their own app. Supports image flair for several select subreddits. Developer is very active in the app's subreddit and is open to implement good user suggestions. Rarely encounter bugs, but again, the dev is quick to fix any known bugs. Would absolutely recommend.
Seriously the best app on the play store! It's better than the official app by leaps and bounds. Not only is saving and accessing your stuff much easier but there's a lot of content that opens seamlessly in the app (like imgur galleries and .gifs.) Also, it's compatible with multi-window app usage for those of us who have it. I can't tell you how much time I've spent browsing sync on 1/2 of my tablet screen with YouTube playing on the other. I can't recommend this app enough!
Single column card view is back! Problem solved. 5 stars. old:Portrait mode - The two columns of posts are incredibly annoying when on a tablet. Please reintroduce the large card view so there is only one column. I love this app. I use it for hours in the early morning but the twin column view will make me find something else to view Reddit.
It's a well functioning reddit app overall. However I am holding a star off as the app goes blank and the pages/links keep loading to no avail after 15-20 mins use; I have to exit the app and wait at least 30 seconds for it to work again.
Love almost everything about this app. Looks great, does what I need it to. Have switched over from RIF. Only thing that would be better is if you could swipe right to go back from a picture instead of up. Everything else is a right swipe. 5 stars when it happens!
Great app. The UI is very clean and simple with nice customization and different view options. Most importantly, the app is fast and stable. I haven't had any crashes, and I use a low-end budget Android device.
My Galaxy S6 completely freezes while ads load. I can't believe ads can cause a phone to lock up this badly. This application is not very well developed. The response below from the dev is completely false and an absolute lie. Do not trust this developer, the ads are inhibiting my phone from actually working!
Loaded with great features. I used reddit is fun previously, and though that app is also good, I find Sync superior in layout and design. The placement of the ads are a bit awkward, but I have no major complaints. Shoutout to Alex and Dom for introducing me to Sync
Changed rating to 5 stars since now error has been fixed. Original review: Great app until most recent update. Now nothing works; keep getting "error loading page:504, Retry"
It's easily the best reddit app out there, even more features than Boost! My only complaint is that it has a few issues with flairs, seeming to only display one default and not allowing us to choose other presets (Example: In the /r/teenagers sub only allows the user to pick the 13 year flair and doesn't scroll to show the others for some reason, but in the comments, other flairs display when someone with them posts. )
Tried few other third party Reddit apps so far as the official Reddit app is buggy. So far Sync seems like the best option I found. Small issues here and there but otherwise totally affective at doing what it should and some more.
Someone mentioned this on reddit, while I was scrolling through using BaconReader. Decided to do a comparison between the two. I think this has a better UI, less of a "bulky" look- like this apps lays it out nicely while keeping a professional look. You got all the features you can with this in an easier and better to use app.
I was looking for an alternative app to Reddit's native app and came across a lot of apps. But nothing offers customization better than Sync. Just bought it!
I just lurk mostly. Search feature is not good but it is nice for getting important news stories and info on anything. Helped me to build my pc!
I really love this app, best speed and functionality in the game. I love the update, but the battery usage was a problem until they fixed the memory leak and now it's the best again!
Easily the best Reddit application I have come across. UI follows material design guidelines and has excellent AMOLED support. It more reliable and stable than other Reddit apps such as Boost which fail to load comments and pages often. Has support to open third-party applications with links such as YouTube and Twitter. (Something the official Reddit app lacked at launch).
Excellent app! Only thing I'd like to see is a double-tap feature to collapse, upvote or reply to comments.
It stopped letting me post comments or replies, for some reason it started asking for captcha but doesn't provide a captcha submission. But if I go to the browser everything is fine, so it's the app that's gone screwy.
I don't post so that popup thing is annoying. It constantly blocks posts. Also the old red was better this is too bright.
Hands down the best Reddit app. Looks beautiful and clean. There are also customizations available. No regrets going pro. Gotta throw some love to an active dev who improves the app with every update.
Not too shabby. I like the layout, makes surfing very smooth. Not having to click next page is brilliant!
I would rate 5 stars. But this app nags me to rate it.
It's miles better than the official reddit app. If you want an easier and more intuitive way to binge-read high quality repost threads and politics then you'll probably enjoy this.
Meh, keeps freezing and crashing when you click on something to actually read, so you have to decide if reading half the article before it crashes and then you have to re-load the app and the scroll all the way through to where you hope to find the same article in your feed,
I have found it difficult to subscribe to new subreddits, and the ads that show up when viewing pictures block the options panel which is incredibly annoying.
The best 3rd part app for Reddit no doubt. The developer works extremely hard to keep it updated. Would recommend.
Great app over all. if there are any bugs they can be easily reported to the dev and disappear shortly after. Highly recommended.
It's alright. The only major issue is that they count their full page ads as a part of an album. Causes a lot of confusion
You asked me to review the app before I actually got to use it, which puts you off using it at all.
I have the add free version. "Error cannot load posts error"
Been watching this app for a while but never used it as my default reddit app. Well a week ago that changed and I'm pleased. Its a lovely looking, feature packed and easy to use app. Well done.
"Failed to check for captcha." Okay, why? I'll ask someone via message. Type, type, type, hit send... "FAILED TO CHECK FOR CAPTCHA."
One of the best Reddit apps on Android. Navigation is easy. Link previews, picture previews, and in app GIF playing make it a snap to use. Great layout and font selection. Unlike many other apps, this is not a clone of the website or of the Reddit app.
Latest update seems to have broken the app. Getting 504.
Only been using Sync for about 48 hours, and it's already proven itself to be far superior to other similar apps. Super easy to use, with an intuitive UI.
The app looks great, works well and offers plenty of customisation. You can tell quite a bit of work went into the making of this.
Best Reddit client I've ever seen. I just wish it was available for my iPad. Might have to pick up an Android tablet just to use this app.
Ads are fairly frequent in the feed. Easy interaction with the app to post edit and up/downvote
great app looks amazing also. PLEASE MAKE A TWITTER APP. would like e to see this same style for Twitter would deff buy.

Great app. Multiple accounts, incognito sub visiting, AMOLED night mode.
