Wishbone Smart Thermometer

I had high hopes for this product when I backed it on Kickstarter. But it has never worked reliably, some features work some of the time. Galaxy Note 4

I've had my Wishbone for two and a half years and I've tried using it on four different phones and it has worked accurately ONE single time. Very disappointing overall.

Has stopped working completely. Useless

This is the worst thing I funded on kickstarter. I hope they no longer sell it

Used to work, now just keeps saying to replug the sensor

"Replug Device" then thought maybe the batteries are dead... Spent $5 on 2x new batteries and it worked again

The problem with a bad connection is simple to fix -- take your phone out of your case. The jack sits flush with the device instead of being thin like a pair of headphones, so the device isnt able to connect completely if you have a cover on your phone. Yes, the manufacturers probably should have thought of this. Otherwise, the human temp is a bit finicky to use, but the ambient and object temps are right on for me.

It's hard to tell why it sometimes just won't work. I had to plug it in and out for about 15 times and try all different measuring options and then suddenly it worked. Really needs an update.

I was excited to get this product, I have a auto immune disease which means I needs to stay clear of anyone with a fever. I thought I could use this without coming in direct contact with people since I am a supervisor in retail and may need to send staff home when feverish. So I guess I'll have to go back to keeping a thermometer and covers in my purse...

My wishbone used to work, but now no matter what I plug it into, all it says is to replug the wishbone. No good at all.

Only work once. Wrote to them for help but no help given. Waste money to buy the device.

it keeps asking me to replug device. tried restart my phone but still doesnt work. please advise.

Just bought but can't use. It keep prompt "replug device". It is still the same even after re-insert thermometer. Please advice how to get it to operate. Thanks.

Worked great when I first got it, but now it does not work with my s7 edge.

I backed this on Kickstarter and had high hopes. Unfortunately it did not come even close to those hopes. This thing hasn't been accurate at all. I've tried it on several devices with no luck.

App is working perfectly fine. Just the device itself is not what is advertised. Quite misleading as it takes time to read your temperature. If I want to take the temperature of ice it gives me 29C and then 28C. Basically it takes time to adjust it's sensor before giving you an accurate reading like a mercury thermometer. The only way to give an accurate reading without the wait time would cost a lot of money and not fit into that small device.

After the latest update on 11 July I managed to get one body temperature reading. Now it says "Please take the temperature at the centre of the forehead" although I do take it right from there. Please fix this problem.

It worked when I first got it, but hasn't in months. Total waste of money.

The wishbone product has become useless for me now that the app doesn't work on my M4 but worked previously on my Xperia M device.

Got my wishbone working after a few updates and changed batteries. Not really impressed with the measuring accuracy. 26 deg C indoor in when it is actually around 21...

Was not bad of a product until it stop working with the new nexus. Can't even start the app at all

No longer works, just says Data Error. Nexus 5, 6, or 6P on Android 6.0
