SplinterNet for Android
During times of civil unrest, governments have recently demonstrated a willingness to completely shut down Internet connections and cellular networks as a method of disrupting the organization of citizens. Additionally many governments filter politically-sensitive content, and spy on their citizens' network activity. SplinterNet provides a way to avoid government control of communications by creating a network with no central point of control.

when me and my friends phones are paired and go to connect eachothers in the app to talk to eacth other it says connection error
I am going to be getting lots of people to use it! By the way, please could you add a profile system, so we could see who sent the post, and so we could 'follow' each other, meaning that we could filter posts by people we are following and individual people. So far this is amazing!
Good.... but with them and Serval Mesh together they'd be MUCH better!
Only problem is the lack of users right now. Spread the word folks! A profile system could be useful, but may decrease security.
Make Open Source, please=)
Only problem is there isn't anyone else using it in my area.
Imagine if this came stock on every android phone. That could make a very big impact.
Considering the state of global politics, this is a necessary app.
We need more users, fast!
It's like Twitter over Bluetooth, no network, very simple. Love the panic button!
I just don't have anyone to send to. We can use it as a notepad alternative.

Really cool, but I hope I never have to use it! Imagine if this came stock on every android phone. That could make a very big impact.

I would love to see an update to this app. For when communications shutdown, it's really nice to have a way to communicate wirelessly still. Please make it look like appchat, it'd be wonderful. Also, would it be possible to allow apk sharing of the app from the settings menu? It'd make more sense to share the app that way, especially if there's no network to connect to the play store from.
