PocketBible Bible Study

PocketBible goes with me everywhere. I used it way back with the Palm Pilot and it was sad for a few years before Android support was added. Having continuous scrolling between chapters is nice and I didn't see that in other apps. The search feature is very fast, and Laridian made it easy to get to the Hebrew and Greek lexicons. Having several bible versions is handy as well as dictionaries, encyclopedias and other reference books. I use this app daily. Thanks.

I can't figure out how to get to a specific verse of the Bible. Very frustating.

Been using this for years..needed to access New King James..public licence being ignored..Laridian tried to charge $10. Downloaded free from Youversion

I truly love this app. I can add notes that are shown in every translation that I have. My highlights are the same way I enter them in one version and they appear in all the others. The only suggestion I have is to have more versions available.

Clutzy, hard to use on the Android phone.

I have been using this software for years both on my windows devices and now on my Samsung S8+.

This is the best Bible app of them all!!!

It is good enough for regular use and I prefer it over the youversion app because there is less social media distraction. Wish I could ditch verse picker and would prefer alternative to verse finder methods. With all of the grumbles, I am glad for the app. I miss e-sword after giving up on an android version.

This app used to be great. The latest version has a bug or glitch (which the support guy confirmed). The guy told me it's harmless. Not very reassuring.

Have been using this for decades since compaq pda days. Love their user friendliness and customer friendliness to allow me to use across different devices. Love its stability compared to many other such apps. My favorite is their split screen and sync screen when comparing Scripture to commentary.

Excellent Bible app for a few books or many. I have invested across the years and very much appreciate the values of this company. I really like the way Laridian does the multi pane on the screen. Thank you for excellent work.

Update to problem I got a download to see what must Nook was doing when PBS was scrolling. It is working better still scrolls sometimes but I see them making an effort to fix the problem. Having the same scrolling problem others have with the last update. I have a Samsung Galaxy tab E NOOK. When going to a new verse it scrolls backwards. I can stop it but have to manually page back. The screen jingles a bit before scrolling and I may catch it before it goes again. Please work on fixing this.

I have used this ap since my "palm" days. I am eagerly looking forward to having notes and hoping that soon after that, I may add my own cross references! I have recently started having problems with the scrolling.... please fix it! I love this app! Thank you soooo very much for fixing the scroll problem!

Started using Pocket Bible about 10 years ago on a pocket PC, loved it then - love it now. Got all the Bibles and books back that I purchased then. Been happy to buy more, it's such a great study tool - both on my Nexus 7 and my Galaxy Ace. The developers work hard to provide the best. Don't hesitate download and get stuck in. The addition of an exit button makes PB much easier to close. Also being able to hide Strongs numbers is a step forward. THANKS

Paid my money and they didn't give me what I paid for! Sure they are probably having trouble with it working for everyone's different platforms and all but has everyone noticed? They sure got your MONEY real fast! Can anyone say ripped off!? SERIOUS REMORSE AT PURCHASING THIS!

I hate it. Its interface is very difficult for beginners to understand. Downloading books is too complex. The whole app is a sham.

For the last several updates the app locks up if you Back button too far Still having this problem

Great access on phone for several years. Having some trouble learning to navigate with tablet version but looking forward to and learning.

Best Bible app period. There isn't a better desktop application, let alone mobile.

Used to love it. However it no longer is usable as it constantly scrolls so now I very much dislike it.

Great app, but recent update has caused uncontrolled scrolling when using the goto function which renders app useless. Waiting for a response from tech support.

Laridian provides wonderful Bible and study software products, I have been a customer for almost 20 years - and I use it almost daily. But it is sad that upgrades cost me the use of a galaxy tablet with an older android version.

Great app since I had it on the Pocket PC a few years ago, then on the iPhone and now on the tablet.

Great app. Easy to use even for neophytes. It helps me on my study of the word od God.

This app worked fine until a recent upgrade. It is now useless. Laridian was unable to resolve the issue. Said I should consult a "Nook expert". Been a PB user since Ipaq. Very disappointed.

Is there any way I can get an older version of pocketbible? I'm currently using an Acer Iconia Tab A200 on Android 4.0.1 and can't use versions 1.6.0 & 1.5.9 of pocketbible. All I see is a blank screen, the menu & borders come out alright but the text just doesn't appear. Versions 1.5.8 and older were fine though...
