I set the headphone value to 200 and it fried my phone... I hate this app

It says it will work on our phone's but this error thing keeps coming up sayin "it's yr device rooted"?what does this mean?

Works on lollipop but not Kit Kat. Any help would be great. Please update for marshmallow.

I wish there was relative or suggested values. I used it to mitigate static coming from my headphones by lowering the headphone field to 50. It worked great.

I'm currently running deadly venom v1.1 rom on our d850 lg g3. I've tried installing this application but all I get is a blank screen with your top bar "volume boost for LG g3", and your menu button to buy beers and restore. Is there something else I need to get this going or is it a conflict with the rom I'm running? Any help would be appreciated..... Thanks.

Does exactly what it needs and I don't need to mock around with system files like the guides tell me to; this program does it for me. Have a beer! (works on Cloudy ROM 2.5)

Not sure if some OS's turn this up by default, but on Cyanogenmod 13 I couldn't get the volume loud enough for some 32 impedance headphones. Set the value to 100 and it was much to loud with distortion. 80 is almost perfect! Can go as loud as I want now!

Default settings give a nice boost on the speaker. Cant find my headphones to try them but Im sure they will be good too.

For the first time use, don't put too high value. It will blow up ur speaker.

Does exactly what it says it does, boosted the Headphone to 68 and I no longer need my portable Amp with my VS985. With the boost to my Headphone Volume, Viper4Android is just that much better as well.

This app worked perfectly for me on a rooted LG G3 (d855) running Cyanogenmod. The only suggestion I have is: please give some indication of what the "volume" numbers are relative to. Like, if I have volume at "99", is that 99% of max? Can the number go to up 100 or 1000? Still, increasing the number definitely increased the max. volume!

As long as you're rooted and have one of the models listed then it works brilliantly. I just set my headphones to 60 to match the others and now I'm back to my pre-lollipop lovely loudness that I had on Kitkat, yay! And no ads, double-yay!

It seems to check for the model number in build.prop and fail if it isn't a G3 model. This doesn't work for me as I've changed the model to that of a Galaxy S7 to get snapchat filters that don't work by default. Is there any way to make it ignore that model number and work anyway?

Great app, been using for almost a year now. Just be careful when setting the initial increments so you don't blow your speakers out or poop yourself. Going up by an increment of 5 should suffice as a gauging point. Since flashing CM 11 last week, I'm getting an error mixer_paths_qcwcn.xml file is missing. Cleared cache and Dalvik even reinstalled, but error persists. This does not effect my rating of the app because I've used the app and love it.

I absolutely love it!! I will definitely donate because this has been an issue with my phone since I got it that when plugging into a car stereo, the audio is really quiet.

Awesome app and works flawless on both my G3s. For everyone giving a low rating ove r it not working because the error message. Your really criticizing a simple spelling error when you obviously have NO clue what a rooted device is and give it a low rating because you can't read the requirements and try using the app on a unrooted device. THEN ACTUALLY GIVE IT A 1 STAR RATING BECAUSE YOUR DEVICE ISNT ROOTED SO YOU'RE UNABLE TO USE IT?!

unlike all the other apps I've tried, I have the D852 and turned up headphones to 85 from 60, and it was too loud (this is a good thing)! I will be using this app from now on with my quiet Sennheiser headphones.

After applying changes it never reboots or power on even after pressing power button it only powers on after taking out battery and pressing hard power button. I'm on LG G3 F400K Cloudy ROM 2.2. Cloudy ROM comes with viper4androidfx strangely has no effect on my phone. Great,simple ,straightforward app and best of all no freaking ads .I just bought the developer one beer.

LG G3 D851. Android 4.4.2. Cranked the headphone volume up to 70 from the default 53. Now I don`t need to touch the volume after connecting headphones, and can turn up for quiet stuff or loud enviroments. I am amazed LG did not have these settings available for at least dev options.

Only reason to root a g3. Phones great except the weird quiet headphone problem. Thanks so much!!!

Okay, in all honesty I'm not that each when it comes to computers and phones. But, I can do more with a computer than my phone. Can anyone explain what the error message means, Its your device rooted? So, help me please for those who have the app to help me understand what it is that I need to do. Can someone please tell me how to tweak with the LG g3 stylus volume since this app is not compatible, and i search for any threads and it seems almost nobody has this phone.

Great app works awesome rooted kit Kat stock !!! Is there a way to increase Bluetooth volume that would be a great addition could be the pro version $$$. Thank you for this great working app

Didn't work at all. Open it up and a screen pops up stating "ERROR" "Its your device rooted?" with an ok button to click. The error message doesn't even make sense.. ITS your device rooted? :o

It works extremely well and is simple to use. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a rooted g3.

This is & always has been a 5 star app. I just had to update this review cause I read through a few reviews, & you people getting the error "is your phone rooted" & you people that have no clue & to lazy to search, you're a bunch of morons. Plain & simple. Lmao "what's rooted" lmao, slapping knees, lmao

My friend has a G3 also, no boosts. Still hear his over mine.

Sound was super slow before...5 star is just not enough! Root is an access to special privilege for a device (for noob person)

After rooting only a lg g3 you install this put it to 75 and you will never have to put it full volume ever again. I use monster headphones and i can only handle 70% of volume love it. Works a treat . nice work developer.
