About Lands of Ruin Command Console
Lands of Ruin is a skirmish scale, near-future, Sci-Fi game that utilizes the recent advances in technology to bring more realistic, faster-paced, and deeper gaming experience to the already mature tabletop strategy game genre. Games are usually played with two players, both with a tablet, and commanding 2 to 10 characters each.
This is the Early Access Beta release of Lands of Ruin. It is fully playable, though an updated UI and additional features are currently in development. Your patience, understanding and feedback are much appreciated.
The Command Console tablet app merges the tabletop battle with familiar aspects of MMO's. This app features all the rules and tutorials you will need to start playing the game. Most players require only two turns to learn to play well. This is because the tablet app allows us to add, calculate, and track an immense level of realism and effects without distracting or overwhelming new players. However, Lands of Ruin is first and foremost a tabletop miniature game, so players of traditional wargames will find most of the concepts and mechanics very familiar.
Lands of Ruin unique features:
- AI controlled NPCs
- Environmental effects
- Server-side team management
- Tutorial Mode
- Simulated simultaneous action phases
All you need to play is a tabletop with miniature terrain, a tablet running the Command Console, 2 or more dice, a ruler, and enough miniatures for both players. No additional rulebooks, compendiums, cards, stat sheets, pencils, or paper are required. Be sure to check out our website for more details.

We have great plans for Lands of Ruin@ as we progress through Early Access, and beyond. Foremost, we will be looking to your feedback and bug reports to continuously improve the game.
