Invalid password screen always comes up.

While I like the experience of reading each day's edition just like the paper version I have questions about the offline function. I am often offline and would like to be able to download more than 4-5 editions for offline viewing. In addition, what becomes of the downloaded files over time? Do they accumulate on my tablet? Can I manually delete files after I have read an offline edition? I have not yet figured that out & there is no explanation about offline viewing in the "help" section
