About X Home Bar - PRO

Want to feel like you go the last iPhone X or replace a broken home button?

This app adds an iPhone X lookalike home button at the bottom of your screen.

This new home button is very simple. Just swipe up, left or right to launch a selected action.

The available actions are:
_Home
_Recent apps
_Back
_Pull down notification panel
_Pull downquick settings
_Start a selected app
_Take a screenshot
_Lock the screen
_Start the power menu

/! If your device has a navigation bar (Home, Back and Recent apps buttons) on the screen, the button will be above the navigation bar! /!

Permission :
_Read Phone State => Needed (and only used) to load applications list because of some manufacturers limitations.
_Write Internal Storage => Save screenshots in the device.

This app uses Accessibility services.nnAccessibility services are used to start several actions (start multi-task, pull down notification panel, pull down quick settings, open power menu, simulate back). These actions can help people that need to use their phone with only one hand to start actions that are not easy to do with only one hand (for example pull down notifications). Accessibility services are only used to these actions.

This app is an excellent variation of the developer's Multi-action Home Button app. It launches similar actions but they are triggered by strokes instead of taps. The stroke gesture has eliminated occasional conflicts between the software home button and any nearby app trigger button. Thanks to Sylvain Lagache for all the thoughtful effort to make the bar usefully configurable while keeping it simple. Screenshot file naming with date and time information included would be an improvement. Since that action is not essential for my use of the app, I have not reduced the 5 star rating.

Love the app, it really shows off the screen of my almost bezel less phone. Although it would be great if you could have an action to swipe down on the bar like on the iPhone X. Also maybe tasker support. Would also be great if like the status bar the home bar could change colour depending on the app. It would also be great if the bar could be overlayed over the navigation bar. I would love to see these features in a update soon. Reply to tell me what you think!

Really nice application. This is the most responsive app that I found. Great alternative to the bad home button of Samsung galaxy s7 :)

Love it Better than all other home bar apps in the play store. Would want the drag to middle of the screen and show recent apps feature

Where have you been! Wow just the solution I need for my LG V30 which can hide soft keys

Y70%
by Y####:

Nice, but I would suggest to have more satisfying animations l, like on the iPhone 10, or at least have the bar go all the way up the screen.

Beautiful! But on Nexus 5 with PA 7.3.0 / 7.3.1 'back' doesn't work

M70%
by M####:

Only does home. None of the other options works.

It's a fantastic tweak for my S8 and I got rid of the stock nav. bar! One thing I want to see implemented is to have the bar get hidden when the phone is being held horizontal (for watching videos, movies, or playing games) and to have the bar appear again when then the phone is back to being held vertically. If you toggle hiding the button in full screen then there is no way to go back to the home screen when watching a video or playing a game.

Fantastic app! Some suggestions 1. Hold action 2. Sensitivity (minimum effective distance) 3. Round Swipe (Swipe up and down)

M70%

No jitter delay but needs more different swipe variability. Ex. Swipe up and hold etc. For now i use gmd gesture control

Good if you don't have a Samsung phone or a phone with a physical home button.

Works great, wish I have had this for a while, no ads no unlocked features

Very good but not perfect. Up for notifications and better keyboard comparability would be easy 5 stars. Great work nonetheless! A few bugs too but nothing blocking you from enjoying it.

Love the idea but needs work. On Note 8 no matter what I set on swipe up or left will apply right swipe every time. For now I use it with one feature only. If all 3 swipes are fixed will change my review to 5 stars. If possible please add go to last application. *********Updated on 12/26/17********* Still the same problem but this time whatever is assigned to swipe up takes over any other swipe. Please fix. *************01/06/18********* still not working. Only one swipe for all directions. Please fix. If this helps the developer that stole your idea had it working. Maybe I'll help you find the solution.

It's a good app that helps me experience the true beauty of full screen view. However, as for Samsung s8, I hope the developer can integrate the function that hide the original home button and lower bottom app icons. PS, I found a way to hide the navigation bar by using the adb command

No need for navigation bar in my note 8 anymore. Tq Dev

I was looking for this for a long time. Glad I found it. A few things would make it better though. I wish the button was able to be dragged a little higher (make it customizable) just to give it that reassuring feeling, and I wish there was an option to switch between apps by swiping left and right, and also a swipe down gesture which we could use for notifications maybe. Also, if it could sit under the keyboard (by making the keyboard go higher), that would be cool as well. Other than that thanks a lot.

I love this apps so much. I highly recommend to download this app. Now I can enjoy all apps with full screen for my note 8. I dislike navigation bar with full screen mode cause everytime have to swipe up for back button. Each time have to swipe for get back. It's make me feel troublesome. I am searching for totally disable the navigation bar after I download this app. Maybe someone can teach me ????. Or maybe X home bar can add a feature for disable navigation bar even for home screen and keyboard. I suggest to add swipe up and hold for recent application. Swipe right can be add for previous app just like double tap on recent applications button.

J70%
by J####:

This app is promising. However, I'd like to see support for switching to the last used application like when double tapping recents. Also for when the margin is set to say 50%, nothing within the current application can be clicked underneath that (like for instance youtube my subscriptions button). Some smaller things such as being able to add a black outline to the button would be helpful to see easier in some applications. Great job overall, but would still love to see these changes.

Really good but add a swipe down gesture like the iPhone X has so then you could pull the notification bar down or whatever. That would be great please do that and I will give 5 stars then. Also I have a YouTube Matt Robb tech and it's got like 30k subs so I could show the app off there.

I hoped that it would have swipe up and hold still to open recent apps ... But it didnt...kinda disapointed....some updates would make this awesome *edit * usually its the only way to get the creators attenttion...for your quick anwser two stats more XD....but if u can do something about this the please

So far this is working really well especially after tweaking some stuff. Deff will get some taking used to but so far in love! It would be a 5 star rating if it had cooler animations though.

This is a great New way to gesture control your Android device. Working great on the LG G6. Would love an option to hide on home screen though... Then it would deserve 5 stars!

M70%

This app goes great with the Samsung Galaxy S8 because you can hide the navigation bar and use this app instead.

Can we have long press option ? I would like to be able to press to go back and long press to go to my home screen. Otherwise great app ! Many thanks !

M70%

This is a great app, it's just how I wanted it to be. But is that possible to replace original nav bar to this instead of immersive mode. I think that would be even greater .
