LA Fitness Mobile for Android
I don't want to have to do a map search and select a club every time I look at the class schedule. My membership is only for one club and I only want to see classes at the one location. There should be an option to have the default club set so I'm not having to enter the same information every day.
This app work sporadically at best. My available sessions and trainers' schedules are hit and miss with regard to visibility. Very frustrating.
The website and the app are not synced properly. I can log into the website, but I can't log into the app as it tells me I'm using incorrect username or password. I've even tried to reset the password from the app which it then forced me to create a new username because my previous one existed. Still no lick logging into the app. Very frustrating since I can't use the QR Code membership. Please fix ASAP!
Just wanted to use as a pass. Can't because it won't accept email. Error message. By the looks of other reviews, this app is simply for show and does not work. Thanks for nothing
Sucks since the update. The check-ins are hard to see. They used to be visible blue dots and now they're faint blue circles.
I setup my account yesterday. I tried to log in today and it says my password is incorrect. I click the I forgot my password link and it tries to make me setup a new account even though it says it's a ps reset page. Username already exists. Of course it does! I created it yesterday! Frustrating
Wow. Talk about garbage. The only experience that was worse than using the app was attempting to use their website on a mobile device.. or maybe it was signing up for a membership with them. I can't remember which I hated more.
Works ok when logged, if you change phones (i upgrade phones regularly) it doesnt recognize info after redowloading, wont let you sign in, have to have desk staff lock you out, luckily you wont have to change password ONCE again, and add it to the list of your "passwords"
I like the app for the most part but the blue outline circles for check ins are harder to see.
Updated app is better. Love that you can "favorite" classes, instructors, and clubs for quick access. I wish the class favorites were organized by date, and there were instructor pictures. Nice to be able to reserve classes and courts. Also nice to see how often you've gone to the gym! Overall, it's very useful!
Won't recognize my email address even though it's been verified. Can't access my qr code. Useless
Since the update, can't see check in's. The dark blue solid circle was so much easier to see. Pls change back.
Does what it's supposed to do, allows for easy check-in and reservations for classes. Would be better if you could use it to report equipment that needs repaired. All the equipment has barcodes ????
Cannot login. Created online account on the app, but cannot actually login on the app. Lots of error messages. Useless.
Says my username and password are incorrect though they work on the website.
Hate the fact that you can hardly see the check-in.
Great application just do not love the update with the light blue circles for check in history!!
I wish you'd add it to Android Wear and allow us to check in with our watch like you can on the Apple Watch

The check in times are wrong. It's about 2 hours behind my time zone.

Not letting me sign in to classes such as spin! Big problem!!!
Doesn't count all of my check-ins and won't let me override so I can log it. Also, go back to the old version. You can hardly see the check in circles anymore.
I love being notified of there's a change in schedule or if the gym is closed etc...very helpful to see if the group room is available between classes
What's the point of this App? Doesn't track workouts, can't search a class without looking through the full schedule for each location.
Latest version switched out my photo for a total stranger's face on the check in screen. Seriously?
I like being able to add classes to my calendar.

It's only as good as the person or cpu checking you in. The site I go to has two scanners out. At times both are unattended. 1 is set to check in the other I don't know. So I use the scanner then check the app and it says I'm not checked in. Then I realized that cpu isn't set to the check in screen. You can view sites and all class schedules for your area.
There's no way I can make my club default in setting so if I don't have location on I gotta put my zip code and pick my club before I can see the class schedule. Lots of extra work to see the class schedule.
The app does very little. One key function was to allow pre registration for classes, but that fits not work any more. LA Fitness cuts corners and does not value their clients. The app is just one more example of the over promise and under deliver philosophy of this company.
The app itself looks good but I don't know if it works at all because I couldn't log in not with my email address or my member number so I gave her the three when I really wanted to give it no stars whatsoever. I'm already regretting joining this gym.
This is a nice simple app to Chace account status, schedule personal training, make court or class reservations, etc. Would be nice to be able to track workouts, calories burned, BMI, weights & body measurements. Renewing membership or offering/accepting promos, important announcement using app would add value too.
Just AWFUL! And customer service unfortunately could not help me. I had to create a whole new account when I switched phones. Very frustrating...

While you can see the class schedules, reserving a spot is not user-friendly. Once you reserve a spot, there is nothing to tell you if the class was full or you got a spot until after it is added to your calendar and then that is not always consistent. Essentially there is no confirmation that pops up after you select reserve a spot.
