Changed the name - still the same rubbish app underneath. When phone doing a lot of app updates this app starves system and user applications. I get multiple system & user application level FCs and my phone eventually looses connection and then freezes. Only reboot or battery pull fixes. (Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on Android 6.0.1).

What on earth is this syncing in the background? It synchs continuously forever. Any documentation in what it is doing and sending the data to which server? It's supposed to protect and not make an user suspicious of the app itself! Ridiculous data usage!

The app is useless and is basically snake oil, finally felt like leaving a review due to the rebranding. The new name makes the app seem like other thousand scam apps that claim to give you protection (even many non-tech people knew about the Checkpoint name, what the hell is Sandblast?) and the new logo looks awful in my opinion.

Installed it because Check Point is the reported discoverer of preinstalled malware. Except it's useless without a corporate account; I can't even do a personal trial run, one-off scan sans RTP, or even buy the thing. This needs to be made clear and prominent in the app description on the Play Store.

If the company actually updates its detection then its acceptable. most of us are forced upon by our companies to install this cr(app). When the Adups FOTA issue came up, Checkpoint just blanket all phones, without checking which version, so my phone is useless as my company thinks I have a phone with malware. Adsup FOTA has been updated on most phones, please update your detection!!!

Runs in the background very low battery usage 1% based on system analysis. This app has prevented several man in the middle attacks of my phone when trying to connect to varrious Wi-Fi locations.

Forced on me by my co security policy. PIN update pops up with a request with no identification and locks phone until updated...ironically could have been a virus ...no way to delay it just locks the phone until PIN updated.

former problem resolved. works perfect...... former feedback was: I assumed battery draining problem was fixed on newer reision (jan 24) but its just less worse as older rev. Few more days of testing, restarts, disabled apps... my phone comlaining again. Guys, please check what wakes up all the time.
