Child Growth & Percentiles for Android
This app used to work great, but now doesn't work as it seems the servers are down (some issue with network connection). Maybe when the developers get back from holidays it will work again... ????
My only issues is when I change the height to inches/feet and weight to pounds, it changes the weight to kg during the submission process then gives me a giant warning that my kid is OVERWEIGHT.
It helps keep a record of baby's weight but it doesn't seem to recognise anything from .10oz. So if i put 10.11 for 10lbs 11oz it would put it as 10.1 and therefore look like a huge drop from previous weight on the chart. Even changing it to kg doesn't help.
Good app over all just needs a way to chart off a preemie adjusted age and not actual
Though it was easy to input my daughter's information, I kept getting alerts that my infant was at times obese or overweight. Babies cannot be obese or overweight. They are still growing. It's kind of crazy. Most breastfed babies are very chunky for months until they start really moving. They should someone incorporate breastfed averages or options.
The "sort list by" function doesn't work correctly. My son Felixs data from 0w 3w 5w all comes before Filips data from he was 0 week. And so on. Really annoying!
Still has a lot of small bugs...Diary date shows 1 day off the actual data, when entering in lb/inch, you need to enter all the numbers first then click for the unit so BMI is calculated correctly. Does warn for thinness when curve is dead on 50th percentile. Growth rate reports do not work.
The app indicates that my son is to thin which isn't true, he's in perfect health. He's rather tall like his dad.
Good idea, but buggy. Can't for the life of it retain measurement units. you put it in in inches it saves it in centimeters. you put it in in pounds it says it in kilos. lots of bugs. can't handle premature birth adjustment.
Very user friendly and well formatted. Would like the option to remove the advertisements, particularly from between dates in the diary as they make it difficult to read.
This app was good for storing data for my pediatrician, but the charts/suggestions stress you out more than actually being helpful. My daughter is on the thin side, and this app would constantly alert me as if something was terribly wrong, seeing that every single time I inputed her data was very discouraging. Parents know if their child is thin or chunky, no need to constantly remind them they aren't in the 50th percentile... or find a different way of alerting parents without labeling their child as thin, overweight, or obese. The largest drawback is that it only records weight as pounds, which skews the data horribly. The app needs to include ounces as well to be accurate.
Cool app, helps to keep track. But alerts are annoying. It would be better if they were hidden when read.
Can't set weight to default to pounds. It SAYS "lbs" when I'm entering a new weight, but then it switches to kg after I save, gives me an alert that the weight is too far from average, and I have to go back in to edit it back to lbs or it messes up the whole chart. Only actually enters as lbs if I toggle it to kg then back to lbs when entering it the first time. Until this is fixed, this app is too annoying to use.
Mediocre at best. Very glitchy. Dates do not save correctly. When you switch to lbs instead of kg there is no options for oz added. You have to switch the measurement AFTER putting in all the data or it automatically switches it back to kg/cm. Growth chart shows her right in the middle but is giving me an alert that she's thin. One of the entries is giving me an alert that she's grown over 300in/year even though she was only 26in for that entry. Can't make any of these false alerts go away. Percentile chart does not equal that supplied by doctors. Some of these complaints are shown in other reviews from a long time ago and still haven't been fixed. I was using Glow Baby which is GREAT except that it only goes up to 12 months. Have to keep looking for a new app because this isn't good at all.
Saved me so much trouble when I forgot to take baby's record book with me when we went to see the Paediatrician. Thank you so much developers!
Like being able to keep track of my kids progress but needs to have an ounce option for weight. Also don't like how it gives alerts/says thinness. I just wasn't to see the WHO graph/statistics/percentage
A little buggy. I have units set to metric by default. When I enter measurements and switch to imperial, it still saved in metric. I have to go back and correct it. Still best app to keep track compared to WHO average that I have found.
Does what I need and more. But the adds is a little too much. I would like an add free/paid version.
The points on the graphs plot well on the y axis but are ramdom on the x (age). All this app had to do was graph...
Buggy. Reporting values recorded incorrectly
Upon setup, it only gave options for lb and kg for weight. There was no option for ounces.
I love being able to keep track of my kids growth... Best app I've used
Wait does it track your height
Good for a free app. The addition of exact dates makes a big difference.
Is there a way to print or export the charts? That would be nice.
Cant save the entry.
A lot of bugs
Everything seems good but too many ads
Its very helpful, easy to use.
Very good app!

Quite useful to track my baby's physical growth
welldone
Easy interface and love tracking against WHO charts. I would love it even more if weight can be inputted in pounds (lb) AND ounces (oz) together as that's what I go by... I'd rather not round up or down and it's inconvenient to convert to kg each time... thanks!
Great except the dating system and the weight. If I want July 21, tapping that date turns it into July 20. I'd have to tap July 22 in order to see July 21 when saved. As well, add oz to the lbs. We get baby's weight in kilograms or pounds AND ounces.

The new version has an improved interface however now it only allows monthly data input. It even seems to have discarded my existing weekly data. That's quite upsetting.
Love the chart but dont like that you can't hide the "alerts", my baby is so chunky with rolls in rolls but because her bmi is like .08 away from "average" I have an alert for THINNESS, um no. I dont want to open it up and see alerts all the time saying my baby is thin when her doctor says otherwise!
Just wish it had not only monthly input.... also to be able to add pictures of the children would be nice. Other than that it's pretty good :)

I find this app extremely easy to use. It gives you charts to track your child's growth compared to low, average, and high percentiles. The app DOES give alerts when a child is above or below the standard growth rate. The chart is no substitute for a physician, but it can help you make sure your child is developing correctly. My son is naturally skinny and very tall. I worry about my son's thinness, but this app helps put the numbers into a visual format, so I can see that he is growing at a normal rate. I also love the Game of Thrones references in the sample photos, they made me chuckle!
