The L8 SmartLight is an interactive light notification device that transforms information into light, images, and animations. It integrates 64 Light-emitting diodes on the main front display, a Super Light-emitting diode on the back, and 5 built-in sensors: Proximity, Temperature, Noise/Sound, Luminosity, and an Accelerometer.
The L8 SmartLight App allows you to control your L8 SmartLight Unit/Device and use the power of light in ways you couldn't imagine before. It's simple to configure. You don't need to be a programmer to customize your device.
Use your imagination, and create and communicate through custom made images, animations, or pre-established L8ties.

L8 ShartLight was a marginal idea that could have been a success were it not for the moronic goons that completely screwed up a fairly simple product. This janky app is a perfect compliment to their often bricked device. Please, if you know one of these devs- give them a wet-willy and a dope slap and tell them to turn in their engineering degrees and apply at Burger King so they can enjoy employment that matches their technical skills. Just check the comments on their kickstarter campaign. I'm not alone.

Can't wait for my L8 to arrive so I can put the app to use. App looks good with lots of features.

Outside of the device itself failing in such a short time, the app wouldn't stay connected for any useful amount of time. Very displeased. It did at least run so it's a 2.
