Why can't anyone get a simple app like this right? Why can't I temporarily scroll the text up or down dynamically using a simple swipe? Why doesn't the font size actually change when I change it? Why only provide pre-fixed font sizes? Why?

Not enough options, controls.

So I wrote my text, pressed play and waited and waited and waited... Nothing... Least intuitive app I've ever had...

Free version stopped working

I have a google Nexus 5 the text doesn't appear ...every time I open the app

Even after putting text and starting it, the screen remains blank/black.

Very easy to use. Nice facilities.

Functionally it works good. 2 things I think would make it MUCH better though. 1.) Put the controls on the side of the screen so you are not interfeiring by reaching under the screen to control the speed. Sometimes as the talent is reading through the script, they slow down and you need to adjust the speed on the fly. 2.) Make it tablet native. On my Galaxy Tab, all of the graphics and menus are stretched out and look a little bit crummy. One last suggestion is making it easier to load file. Having the ability to import a .txt file from Dropbox or Google Drive from within the app would save time and headache when loading scripts. Just my two cents as a video professional that shoots a lot of commercial on camera talent. The controls location was a suggestion from a few of the talent that I have worked with using the app.

Downloaded originally about six or seven months ago and it worked ok. At that point the only problems were that settings couldn't be saved. All the settings worked but they couldn't be saved. Also there wasn't a convenient gauge to set the scroll speed. Which when coupled with the inability to save settings made for a lot of trial and error. But when I tried to use the app this morning the text size wouldn't change at all much less be saved. Because I actually use it as a teleprompter and not as a scrolling reader the text is too small to read from five feet away or so. Please fix it. I'd far rather pay a couple of dollars and have a useful app than have a useless app for free.

I have a script on my PC but with those app I need to retype it on my tablet every time. Import of word or text docs would be handy but paste option is essential. Also appears fuzzy as wrong res on Nexus 7.

Its ok, doesnt remember speed setting which is annoying. Also would like see to a speed value rather than words for percise speed setting.

This app is excellent! It gives you ask the necessary functions of text speed, size, color, etc. and simply performs as it should without any complications or hassles. Amazing tool for teaching students on presenting or training yourself I speech giving.

Fonts too small

Excellent app. I used this yesterday for a large presentation and it worked very well. It has crashed a few times while setting up presentation (Galaxy Tab 7.7), usually when leaving it waiting for a while. Also a bit of a faff having to type directly into the app or cut and paste from other documents rather than simply import a file. Having said that, editing once it's in and manipulating speed, pausing etc while speakingall works very. Wouldn't normall review apps but for genuine business use this is the real thing - just a couple of minor changes and it would be worth paying for!

So I have a nexus 7 and before like a week ago it was working perfectly but the past days the font has been showing up really small. If you could fix that please I hav tried everything and I use this app in my job

I was looking for something which would actually move forward as I narrated. This is just a scrolling text tool, and a very simple one at that. Even the speed control could at least have a numbered scale on it so I could know WHAT the speed actually was, otherwise it is just trial and error till it suits you. I would also have liked to be able to open an existing file, rather than have to find it select all, copy & paste. I didn't see any options to change font size or colours I will be looking for another option and probably de-install this.

I would have thought it would be logical for an app like this to integrate with your device's inbuilt camera. Unless I'm missing something, this app doesn't. It appears that you need to use a separate camera if you want to use this app as an aid to videoing yourself speaking for vlogs, etc.

Solid App - very workable. Playback is nice. App saves multiple "scripts" inside the app. Feature Request: Please allow us to save all the prompter settings for each script so we don't have to reset our settings every time

Typed in my speech into free teleprompter hit "go" and had no problems remembering it word for word. Intuitive and works great

Have speed control right on screen, easy to change speed, good app, maybe next step is to remember the settings and access the files

Excellent app, now if i could download karaoke song lyric sheet it would be EVERYTHING I need for this app

Great app. I would give 5 stars if it filled my tab galaxy 7 inch tab screen al the way, and could import txt files instead must create within app.

Poor. Can't import text. It should be easy to execute but it's not.

As a singer/songwriter, I find this a great app for prompting the words of a new song. Just set the font size and scrolling speed, load the song you want, and it scrolls though, start to finish, the appropriate verse always there on the screen at the right time. You can also set up playlists to save having to load songs individually. I use a Nexus 7 tablet and I edit the songs (plain text) on my computer before copying them to the Prompter folder on the tablet. Easy-peasy!

All the android teleprompter apps LACK the MOST basic feature, to be able to control the speed of the prompter WHILE filming. If you are a large crew, you would not need an android teleprompter solution. This is for a one-man crew... but how can you be in front of the camera to control the speed and behind at the same time?? On this app, - the biggest font is way too small - the movement is jerky when slow - there is no remote solution at all - no ability to edit text!

Useless without file import capability.
