Cool Wine Bottle Glowing Tutorials

Step 1. Wash Interiors of Bottles

Place discarded wine bottles under faucet of hot water one at a time. Run water inside each bottle for approximately 30 seconds until interior of bottle starts to overflow. Tip: If the wine bottle has extra residue inside, add dishwashing detergent to help dilute it.

Step 2. Rinse Bottles

Thoroughly rinse the exterior of the bottle with hot water under the faucet.

Step 3. Remove Stickers

Once the exterior has been rinsed, any stickers or wrappers on the bottle's exteriors should become loose. Peel stickers or wrappers off exterior and throw away.

Step 4. Scrape Off Sticker Residue

It's likely that once the stickers are removed, there will be remaining adhesive buildup or residue. Run hot water over the bottle's exterior, then use fingernails to remove sticker residue or buildup. Tip: If the residue doesn't easily come off, add liquid sticker remover to the exterior with a dry cloth or paper towel. After a few seconds, the residue may soften and instantly come off. Use dry cloth or paper towel to dry the exterior of each wine bottle.

Step 5. Add Spray Paint

Lay drop cloth out along a flat, well-ventilated, level exterior surface. Add two coats of spray paint to each bottle by keeping the spray paint can approximately 8 inches away from its surface, moving left to right in small, controlled spurts.
