Scan, Bag, Go

Scanned 44 items and had them all bagged. Apparently it's vital that you touch the self scan screen before scanning the scan and go barcode. I didn't realize this and my order was immediately cancelled and I was logged out. Had to unbag and rescan everything. The attendant offered a very helpful stare and walked away. Good times.

I've used this many times now. There are times when it's slower than the handheld scanner, but I love being able to scan my groceries as I shop. I would give it 5 stars, but it's really aggravating when it's not working right. The rest of the time it is fantastic!

Would Not Work

I downloaded the app at home and when I walked into Krogers I needed to hop on their wifi but I just stood by the scanner kiosk waiting and eventually got an error message to try again so I ended up using their handheld scanner and uninstalling the app

This app was a huge waste of time. It took way longer to scan things as I went than it would have been to just scan them at the register. I could only see this being useful if you're shopping completely alone (wrangling kids while scanning was nigh impossible, between forgetting to scan, items not scanning unless it was held perfectly still, the app glitching, etc), you're incredibly picky about bagging, or if this app was for Wal-Mart, which is the only store I've been to that consistently has terrible lines at every location. That being said, it would be worth it if they integrated it with the regular Kroger app. I had to go back and forth checking on coupons, which was a hassle. If the app would alert me to available coupons when I scanned, and had the shopping list feature from the other app to check off what I picked up and tell me what was still on my list, it would be incredible.

Wonderful idea. But would not work for me. Kept telling me I could only use in Ohio. It's a shame it would have been great for me.

Love the idea and use it every time I go to kroger makes check out faster. And I can bag my items with out worry about someone putting the wrong items together. But it does need some work have to scan my shopper card at least 3 times before it loads right. Then it takes a few moments to load.

everytime it starts it says it crashes but the program works fine? is it just me?

Love the idea of skipping lines.

Phone, call log, and contacts for a scan and pay app? Nice idea, but extremely excessive permissions!

Takes way to long. Not bad app if you had 6 hours to spend grocery shopping.

Love the idea that I can finally shop at my Kroger on my phone. I wish this was avaliable in all Krogers.
