Sensor Sense for Android
This app is wonderful as well as the developer. When I first downloaded & installed the app, I had the same problems as others. However, I emailed the developer who fixed everything even before posting the update. I'm still exploring all the things this app can do - from showing longitude, latitude, magnetic & true north as well as recording decibel levels, light sensor & whole lot more. I downloaded this app from AppGratis & hope I'm able to transfer the files to my new cell phone. Thanks!
This is a nice, tidy app with an attractive interface that won't scare the non-geeks. I wish it provided a more context about some of the more obscure settings, but that's nitpicking. Suggestions for some of you users: . ** the purpose of the app is to display sensor readings - nothing more ** ** if you don't understand what a sensor shows, Google it ** some phones don't have some sensors; hide them if needed.
Don't understand a lot of it, but this is my fault not the apps. I think it is cool as all get out to see how the world around you is working. Only thing I see is in the settings it doesn't keep the slow down of the coordinates checked to help read it better can you fix this otherwise it is a great app, thxs for your hard work.
This is an excellent app. It's a great utility to have on hand to troubleshoot problems as I have done using this app. It's a must have for any utilitarian Android user. I've used it for years on the Motorola Nexus 6, Huawei Nexus 6P, HTC Nexus 9, Huawei Honor 5X, Google Pixel C, and Google Pixel XL. The Material Design asthetic is a great tough. Great work and Praise DuARTe!
Used to be a great app. Full screen video ads with obnoxious and loud audio = permanently uninstalled. Sorry, not acceptable under any circumstance.
I viewed my sensors once, but when I scrolled them off the screen, I couldn't get them back. Just a white screen. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but if it is this easy to screw it up, I don't want it. Uninstall.
Having these various tools under one app is useful and convenient. I've found that the measurements obtained via this app appear to be more accurate than most stand alone apps. It's a great way to check accuracy of other apps & allows for a quick reference of some important aspects of your phone & surroundings. Nuff Said
The sensor shows only 5 cm in open space and 0 cm when covered the sensor completely or at some distance in redmi 2
Nice and cool app! Ui is clean and neat. Shows a lot of information like how I wanted, no complexity, easy to use
Very nice app, but I found out that the proximity sensor value is inverted (far is near and near is far) and I'm sure it's not my phone that is giving that wrong value, because I tried other sensor apps and they all show right value.
I tested every function on the app and the only one that worked was the rotation vector and battery, the rest don't work this app is pointless
Hallo Sensor Sense Team. You've accomplished a great and good working app. Maybe others asked before me, why isn't the app recording wenn the display is locked or the phone goes in standby mode? Is it a way to fix it? I need to do a overnight measurement. Best regards.
Once you delete all apps on home screen, you can't get them back unless a purchase is made. This app is trash
The altitude on the gps never works
Very useful, 10/10. Very clear that this app has been given some hard work in the making.
I had no clue my phone could do most of this stuff! Crazy interesting!!
If you can add humidity sensor it will be great (there is one in the galaxy s7) and translate the barometer to attitude
I have tried many similar apps like this, but this app is much better in user friendly GUI. Thanks for developers, good job!
I have been looking for a simple application such as this for a long time!
Useful app. The barometer seems to be wrong, but this error is consistent across several apps so I think it is an issue with my device.
Clean and material... Sensitive indeed.... But it's kind of scary that apps can do this and even more with your device...
This app served me well in determining that my S6 Edge hadn't fared as well in the deluge of rain that my son had subjected it to as it had first appeared. In my case, the battery seemed to be draining rapidly and I had noticed that the screen no longer appeared to dim in low light. Installation of this app revealed that the light sensor no longer functioned. Even worse, nor did many of the other sensors, including the various gyroscopes that detect motion and acceleration. If you need to troubleshoot sensor issues or just need to take measurements of the data your phone can gather, this app will serve you proud.
If it's still on here I don't have on mine and I paid for the premium version. I used the elevation for almost everything. Really comes in handy with my job. Wish it would come back...
Temperature 80 in November in nh? I wish. In silent room db is high, etc. Other word its fake
This app delivered very useful and handy stuff, yet I'd love to see more tools added.
Me permite saber muchas de las cosas que perciben los sensores de mi tablet, pero pienso que la brujula es demasiado simple, me gustaria algo mas grande, con mas detalles
Another thing I would like to measure is radio noise (headphones plugged in), and things like cpu/gpu and ram consumption, stuff like that
The barometric pressure seems to be hard to figure out at first because there are several different methods of measurements. You would assume it would be from sea level to your location but that's not always the case. I'm still learning about this myself and I think that altitude & temp can play a factor too? Not sure, but do your research first before giving this app a low rating !!! NO SARM IWFU! THANK YOU DEV!
Lots of different sensors, features, nice design. My only c complaint is that it would be great if all the sensors were visible on one screen instead of being several scrolls up/down.
Of course that means there's no need for this app!
I suggest the addition of compass as well ...rest..it's awesome
Beautiful design and works great. I only needed the light meter but the others are fun to play with.
Ask for permission all the time. Even when permission already given .
That's a detail that's missing in most similar apps I looked at
There is nothing that I don't like about this app. Even the ads are placed out of your way, and they never abruptly take up the full screen. I would definitely recommend it.
Is not good unless we pay for it, but a very helpful app!!
The app checks the phone's sensors, providing real-time output with the ability to change several output offsets & scale factors to match relevant calibration data you may have, & to change many units into those which make sense to the operator. It'd be nice if there were more unit options, but what's available is adequate. I've found it very helpful in understanding not only what's going on with my phone in the moment, but also how my phone works in general via it's sensors & what it's limitations are.
Works just fine on my several nexus 5's. Great app to test that your sensors are functioning correctly.
I had no clue my phone could do most of this stuff! Crazy interesting!!
