One Click Brightness Widget for Android
You can make multiple widgets and customize what screen brightness each widget will change to when tapped. This would be one of the best free utility apps on the market if there was a function to make a three or five tiered toggle (i.e. tap to cycle through 0%, 15%, 35%, 65%, and 85% on one widget). However, this criticism sits well outside the domain of "Review", and I will leave a well deserved 5-Star.
I was searching and trying different brightness control apps for long time.. but never found any app that can give such an easy and fast way to apply different levels of brightness. I have created 5 different brightness levels (buttons/widgets) and switch between them on need basis. I find it more controllable and convincing than auto mode. All thanks to the developers.. keep up the good work guys !
If the option for 0% brightness was there, I'd love it. Need that at night. 5% minimum is just too bright, especially when you first wake up. This app hasn't been updated since 2013, as per the notes at the bottom of the description. Dev doesn't care.
5% is bright enough during night or when the lights were turned off
Keep getting a message saying unfortunately one click brightness widget has stopped working
But it opens like an app and is always in the recent apps. It should just change the brightness and close completely.
Would have given full 5 stars if there were options for 0-4%
No ads,fast
small, simple, effective and well designed. Highly recommended.
Very easy to use. I like this
Good job dev.
Fine
Easy
The customization is great. Would be awesome if you could divide the widget into 4 slices that each had a brightness level, to save screen space.
The only improvement needed is to have a widget set for custom made options combined. Instead of separated since it occupying too much space now...

This is just what I needed. The only thing is it would be good if you pressed it again and it goes back to the previous setting
This app is good for what it needs to do but could do without the lag all the time. So, only 3 *
Great idea for a widget. Very handy and user-friendly, but the screen brightness value keeps randomly changing after I set it. Have to constantly reset the widget. Fix please.
it's not working......... : l
I love it
I installed it and there wasn't any icon. It did show up in the applications menu. Uninstalled. Fix this please.
I don't have automatic brightness and I was looking for a brightness widget that would adjust brightness with one tap and without opening a pop-up slider or be a 8-click wheel. I finally found this ;)
Leaves a "recent app" open when used. Fix this and it's 5 stars.
Why can't I go all the way to zero?
Just what I was looking for, small widgets that allow setting preferred brightness levels. Not some bloated megabyte + programs that suck up resources to achieve a simple task.

This really what i was looking for one touch to change brightness. Also it give u the control to chose the percentage
Exactly what I needed, works as advertised.
Suprb
This is awesome
but I'm looking for the one widget that has 2 settings...there's one with 3 settings too
I would suggest two improvements : allow brightness of zero (minimum is 5) and add an option to open slider instead of setting a preset level. A nice to have feature would be setting different values depending on where you tap on the widget (top, bottom, left, right).
This is awesome

Does what's posted to do it seems you need to delete it to create a new one each time to edit setting
Custom widgets for any screen brightness, including auto brightness... Great app.
This is awesome
Works as it should, assigning screen brightness to one click! Minus one star, bec it sometimes does not automatically apply the change (I need to cycle/lock the screen). When I unlock, screen refreshes to the correct brightness. HTC One S. Otherwise, this would've been a 5*

Great little app. Don't understand why others need to have ID and other permissions. I put 4 instances on my home screen so I could quickly change from 5 to 25 to 50 to 100% brightness. Great when brightness is left low and I go into bright sun and can't see the screen. I know where the 100% widget is and can hit it easily.
