Superuser

I used this a couple years ago and it worked fine. Now every time I open it I get a message asking me to update but when I click install it gives me a message saying unable to install and to send a log of error to the developer. Now it won't even let me uninstall it! So annoying. I'd give this 5 stars if it worked like it used to. Until then just one star...

I try to install something and it has an unlimited instalation screen. Doesn't work for my galaxy tab 3 4.1.2 kit kat. You read that wrong have you?

So I downloaded, installed and I get the "binary data out of date" and I can cancel or recovery install. I don't know what to do and Google has lots of different answers, figured I'd just ask here, better chance to get the right answer rather than mess around. Thanks in advance, much appreciated. I don't like it. Super Manager is much better. This damned thing refuses to be uninstalled. Someone tell me how to get rid of this "super" nightmare.

Wtf? I'm experiencing the same binary error as many other reviewers, and where is the developer response? Nothing is perfect, but the developer should be responsive to at least one of us.

We all know your work. But the reasons mentioned on the description exceeds all my expectations and your "brand" got now on top of the list for everything you have released. I'm gonna try this app for the 1st time. Pretty sure it is good as your usual stuff is. Keep up the great work.

I gave 2 stars because I love clockworkmod!!! I was using SuperSU, but I wanted to switch to your Superuser because, well, it's clockworkmod! But, even using the recovery method, I DO have root access. But I get no prompt to allow root access. In ES file explorer I am told that I don't have root when trying to use the built in root explorer, but when I go into the system folder, I can see everything, so I know I have root, but it isn't set up properly. when I use terminal emulator it won't give root at all

I don't have toast notifications enabled, but I keep getting "Superuser granted to shell popping up quite a bit in my notification bar. Fix that then comes the 5 star rating you want.will occur

Seriously guys? I rooted, now all my flash videos crash and when I try to uninstall it says there was an error and to send the log to the developer. Guess what!? No logs available either and now I'm such with the flawed root... Galaxy S4. Don't download. Will change if you fix this...

Switched to this from SuperSu (Pro) after random permissions were not persisting. Couldn't resolve that. No problems so far with this. I originally used an old 'Superuser' but that had problems with binaries updating. I believe there is an underlying issue with binaries across all superuser apps, but so far this is stable for me.

Then I have to reflash the zip again. And once I boot into the desktop, it updates from the Play Store and says I have to update the binary... sometimes it works, but if I reboot again, it says the binary is out of date and I can't update it via recovery, it's as if I don't have root. Like I stated before, though, if I flash it again, it's working fine.

So far not working here for me... Couple of apps that need superuser permission but it never appears in supersu... Messed around with settings and nothing.

Superuser works great on my Moto X Developer Edition. I like Clockwork Superuser better that SuperSU. I had to use the recovery zip to install it, though, because I'm stuck with TWRP recovery. Clockwork Recovery doesn't seem to be supported on the Moto X, yet.

this app is completely ueless, when i go into it it just has he loading circle until i press the screen then nothing and does nothing when i let it load forever. awaste just like all the other superuser apps the dont work. YES IM ROOTED!

Keeps apps without root permission from accessing essential android operating systems. It sends permission requests by popup notification to the user to allow or disallow apps that may have the capability to change permission states. Great app.! Thank you!

When i open it. Say update required. Two options displayed install and install recovery. I update app. And then it show one option recovery. When i am going to install that. It say error. And again display option. I have htc one m7. Please help me. Who to fix itt

I had been haunted by TitaniumBackup that was always failing to make a backup to both internal and external sd card. I was getting abused by the "unsufficient storage space " error message, even though i have plenty of storage space. At that time i was using chainfire's supersu... I'm finally jubilant! :)

I installed this app to upgrade from a previous superuser app. Whenever I open this app and try to update the supersu binary (using "recovery install"), the phone reboots and a message is displayed "signature verification failed, installation aborted." I wanted to give it 1star but I've heard really good reviews of this app from my friends who use it that's why I gave it 2stars .Will give it 5stars if this issue is fixed.

I tried on a fresh copy of vanilla 5.1 and it keeps complaining about the SU binary being out of date. I've tried downloading the ZIP and the APK and installing manually....but no luck. Worked for me on 5.0 :(

Please fix the bug where it says cannot install update for superuser binary and I have the latest version can you please fix this then I will give 5 star review and then give you a shout out!

I have samsung galaxy nexus where I was running fine, then it's says your binary is out if date then I got 3 option install recovery and cancel so I got update file in zip and installed into root by robot and with recovery mode after that I am getting same message on every robot but it's work fine and it's up to dated why I am facing that message again an again

The only su permission app that I trust. Why are you trusting your root access with closed source app? You don't know what they might do with it. This, too, have the best interface of all.

It works perfect for me even with my ROM messed up since my phone tried to update the other day and I stopped it and now my phone is all one ROM no recovery or anything oh well I'm still rooted and binary still updated

Can't update binary and cannot use root too. plz fix immediately. all of my root apps stopped working because of this error. i will give 5 stars if it fixs.

Why not being updated, more functions should be added like app and data backup, etc 2 stars down, because of no answer from developer!!! No updates? Zero stars for you!

The other superSU apps keep updating to keep up but this one never updates since I installed it, still worka fine and never been broken! (this phone is migrating from KingUser and still using chainfire for 2 other tablets)

I don't get what this app is for? While using one of the CM apps I have superuser asks to allow or deny, but for what. Can someone explain this to me please. Thanks

SU does work and please don't bother with the binary update. Something changed. *Policies are now unchangeable. Grab Root Check JRummy to verify. 09-28-2015

No issues; works flawlessly. It is user-friendly too. UPDATE: This app randomly decides to deny superuser access to system processes, resulting in OS crashes and restarts. Will uninstall if problems persist. This app also might have been the cause of a bootloop that forced me to wipe the /data directory in order to restore functionality

Cool, do it! But why don't they get updated on installation? And how does this app get to reboot the phone into recovery without my permission? Then after all that risky inconvenience, it reports installation errors that it caused...this time around, it sucked!

I still remember the times when it worked (no “outdated su binary” warning, honest root requests popups etc.). It's now more than a year since it is broken! Hey, Koush, have a couple of hours to just fix it please.

Plz install it through cwm recovery if you want it to work on your device. Do not comment if you installed the apk cause it doesn't work.
