AllCast

My device does not offer any type of screen mirroring feature. I have searched high and low for a way to be able to watch content from my device on my tv. I have tried various cast apps, all of which did not offer what i was looing for. This app, however, works flawlessly everytime. There are some ads, however, it DOES NOT interrupt what you are watching. I also love that the app runs in the back ground, which in turn, I can still use my phone and all other apps. I am extremely happy.

Doesn't work for direct streaming from apps like youtube and netflix, you need to directly download the content and then stream directly from your device. Which, if you're using a smartphone uses your device's battery up quickly but i see this as a workaround for the developer to bypass permissions from established service providers. The only streaming app that was linked to this when i opened it was the twitch player.

I don't know if this is a trial version for a limited time, or limited functionality. It appears to play only one photo at a time. I see nothing that allows file selection, a slideshow, or swiping to another photo as shown in the video on the website. Support indicates that any issues are not fixed by the premium version, so I guess I am out of luck. The file navigation is excellent. It does not appear to be a full DLNA server, but there are some limited commands available on the TV using the remote.

ZTE avid (cheap work horse) on home network Motorola Surfboard/ Belkin AC 1200/ on comcast internet ......=casting now perfectly with chromecast dongle YouTube hbo.go my show box apps downloaded movies pictures everything was perfect on my phone. no prior issues at all .. accept allcast stopped. it search is searches and searches...I rebooted updated and refreshed everything..... nothing .(PS allcast premium ..and Pandora won't show cast buttons)

Initially, I gave this app a 5 star because it is excellent for playing movie apps and stuff from browser. However, I have fantastic network apps that Allcast will not play to my chrome cast. I have great Wi-Fi, so that is not the problem. When I try to stream a live network, Allcast connects to chrome cast, but only darkness as a result.

I installed this on recommendation so as to cast to a TV and a Firestick. I can play or stop and that's it. I can't forward, rewind or pause. I even paid to upgrade to the premium version but no change in performance. 2x emails to support have gone unanswered. Clearly they can't be bothered. I've installed an alternative app to get away from this crap!

Initially I didn't like it. Playback was glitchy and the connection would drop. However, after researching online I decided to take a chance and upgrade to the full version. I have to say, so far I'm impressed, no sync issues, no blocky images and no drop outs. If things change I'll edit the review, but for now I'm impressed, very impressed.

This app used to be incredibly reliable. At some point in the last year it simply stopped allowing videos to play on my Chromecast. It will appear to load the video, shows the length, but stays at a black screen. Other casting apps work fine (localcast ftw).

This is a perfectly functional streaming app I use with many apps to stream to my Chromecast. I use Netflix, Showbox, and Cinemabox through Allcast. The only problems I ever encounter usually come from Showbox or Cinemabox, not Allcast. Simple setup, easy user interface. Highly recommended. I also use this on several different devices to the all of the Chromecast capable devices in my home.

Works decently enough through a Xbox one, but drops multiple times during a movie (which plays well on originating vehicle). Have to restart and move the movie to the place it stopped. Other than that, excellent picture, smooth connection. I downloaded this based on recommendation, going to try others now.

I cannot get the now playing no media playback notification to go away even if I'm disconnected from wifi and all apps cleared. It also will not work with chromecast from my phone. LG Power X

Can't watch a whole show/movie through showbox without it skipping & stopping the show. It freezes up everything the is played, it didn't do that in the beginning but after a few months of using it, it has started doing this. Looking into finding another casting program that works a lot better than this!!

It works and its a good app but!! There's a problem with the casting. When I cast a movie to my Xbox one from my phone using this app, it sometimes automatically stops casting and all playback stops and there's no way to continue even if I seek forward or backwards through the movie I am forced to exit the app and recast it again it's pretty annoying and needs to be fixed. Overall Great App.

Spent several days trying to understand why my phone could no longer mirror cast to my TV. Worked fine up to recently. Mirror cast uses wifi direct and doesn't need wifi network to connect to TV. Not even suspecting this app I've been deleting apps and reseting my device on several occasions. Not getting anywhere i eventually added each application I use one by one. For whatever reason this app this causes problems. Don't use with screen mirror. Average with use on chromecast.

Yet again, we all get screwed with app updates. App no longer casts from showbox to rokus. They recommend downloading Growbox to work along side allcast. It still doesn't work, even with premium.

The app works okay but continues to open all the time. I upgraded to the paid version and it still does it. Is it so hard to have an OFF button? This can be a battery killer.

It used to work very well for me but lately it's been cutting out on me. Maybe it's just on my LG V20 or because I'm on Nougat. Either way, I have to try something different.

I purchased the full version of this app so I could have unrestricted casting abilities from my android smartphone to an Apple TV. The connection seems to be very buggy, it won't maintain a connection reliably for extended periods. My Apple TV is continuously giving errors saying that my iOS version is out of date and that Apple TV requires 7.7.x or later. Once I skip this error warning the app works for around 10 minutes for casting photos, then it completely loses connection and requires me to restart the app. I want this app to work very much, I would appreciate any assistance.

Good app but when installed doesn't allow you to play Bluetooth audio. Uninstalling will fix. Having to reinstall to everything to cast is rubbish. This needs fixing. Took 6 hrs to find this conflicting app

I used to really love this app. Unfortunately, it will no longer detect my DLNA server (UMS) running on Windows 10. Archos Video, LocalCast, BubbleUPNP, etc all detect this serve. AllCast will not play nice with it. This is not really addressed in the wiki other than to say to restart the DLNA server and Android device. That doesn't help me, because I can open any of those other apps and play movies from said server just dandy. Logs only show that CastDLNA is searching for a few minutes, then stopping and restarting. Nothing else useful that I've seen yet

Ads are just annoying. You can't just stream it to chromecast and use other apps. Ads will keep flooding on top of other apps to irritate you till your death. Other casting apps has way more features too. UI and feature wise sucks as well. Total bummer

I removed due to annoying always on "now playing" notification even after killing app. Will use something that does not constantly chew up notification space when not even running.

Preview Complete. Preview complete, that is what my screen read in the middle of streaming a video. The footage cuts off and it reads preview complete. No only that, but I get a bunch of pop ups and ads. I will never endorse such a crappy app as this one. If I can't even watch one video without it being put off and asked for moneg, if I can't even lookat the app without pop ups and ads thrown in my face, then that app does not deserve a place on my phone or on any. Do not download this app. Preview Complete, that just makes me so angry. I've had this app in the past and never did that happen before. It just gets worse and worse with each new update.

Latest update does nasty things with my Bluetooth headset, causing audio to play through the phone speaker for a tenth of a second, then through the headset, then the speaker, then the headset.. Freezing or uninstalling AllCast fixes the issue instantly. Reinstalling AllCast brings it back immediately.

Disappointed that doesn't have subtitle download option. Discovered other apps did after buying licence. Never used any more. Try Location LocalCast !

Why does your app unpause my show if I get and end a phonecall? Is this seriously the way it was designed? I'll change my review when it doesn't automatically resume a show because of a phonecall. I'll determine when I want it to resume. Thanks

Don't bother! Very bad playback options and glitchy controls. Far too difficult to even fast forward or control your playback. LocalCast is a much better app, go for that! I wish I hadn't wasted money on Premium of this app. LocalCast is a free alternative with better navigation and features than the premium version of this!

So far so good. Ads take over your phone tho, whether you're in the app while it's running or not. Just pop up whenever! Super annoying and why it gets three stars instead of five.

It takes forever to search for a player whether connected to a network or not... to be honest it really ticks me off waiting so long

Would give more stars if it didn't cause my Bluetooth functions to stop working. Please update with a fix. I have been using for 18 months without a problem. I also purchased your premium version which I have had very good results from, but I still have to have the free version installed. I guess premium is just a key to unlock the free? Anyway, a couple weeks ago for no reason, my Bluetooth functions stopped working on my headphones, car audio and I couldn't play YouTube videos with Bluetooth enabled. I couldn't solve the problem without doing a complete factory reset. Bluetooth worked fine until I installed Allcast. Uninstalled and the Bluetooth functions properly. Please fix so I can continue using the app I paid for.

Simply amazing app right here. I used to have a Lumia 1320 and I used the PlayTo app ALL THE TIME. I was upset a little when I upgraded to my Nexus 5, a much better phone because for one, it's an Android. But Android doesn't have PlayTo, and Xbox doesn't support Chromecast. So I was absolutely thrilled to find this app. I'll definitely be upgrading to the addfree version shortly. This app rocks.

Bought a Chromecast. Loved it. Wanted to stream movies. Got AllCast. Loved it. Got Premium. Loved it. Worked for three months with a few registration problems. Then, it TOTALLY CRASHED MY BLUETOOTH, AND MY INTERNET STREAM THROUGH BLUETOOTH. C-Cast wasnt even involved. Thought it was a hardware failure until I froze every app at a time. Found AllCast was culprit.

Fills a gap, but clunky. Needs improved navigation and ability to swap where you are casting, or even stop on the same device, and pick up where you left off instead of starting at the beginning every time.

But while im watching on tv it keeps disconnecting then I got to start it over then fast gorward with dumb skip 30 seconds thing plz fix but it does work so thanku

So used to work to be able to stream across from my phone from a program.... now it doesn't, now I have to download content (I'm fine with that) however it plays only 49mins of a 2 hour film

The free version works just as well as apps I've paid for in the past. It's a 60sec commercial in the beginning that gets repetitive. But other than that the app works wonders

Load The app worked well, just was disappointed that it lagged and I had to wait for it to load. If I'm paying my money I shouldn't have to wait as long to view my content. But good app overall.

Says it connects to xbox which it does in a way, but the xbox store doesn't have the app so doesnt really work. Thats my only complaint about it.

This app use to work wonderful but now since I purchased it, it doesn't find my amazon fire tv! I'm upset and I want a refund!
