No Gaelic here, but still a neat app because I never heard them speak Gaelic anyway. Would have been handy for me a year ago. :)
To me this is completely outrageous and stereo typical!! And prátaí is Irish for potatoes ITS NOT SLANG!! And ye spelled it wrong. 1 star >:-(
This app if full of shite. Please dont install this shite app
Sure I suppose it's ok like, but what's the craic with me not having heard of most of the words. A lot of English slang in there too, wouldn't be too impressed with that now to be honest. I'll fight ya after mass on Sunday.
Absolute rubbish I'm irish and I never use any of these lol maybe one or two haha DO NOT INSTALL
Me being 100% irish some meanings are wrong ex. Bloody doesnt mean very. Wanna fight about it
I'm irish! I've never even heard most of the words! The few words i have heard have the wrong meaning ffs! *uninstalls*
Most of these words are British slang, some words are used here in Ireland where as others I've never even heard of! The maker of this app should cop the f*** on and do his research!!
You forgot "Gobsmacked," "Your man/one" and the most used, "craic"....how could forget craic?! This is cute & reminds me of home =(
so the Irish don't speak Irish? I'd try to bring back that which was once forbidden
Its very good... a couple of good ones left out... such as nacker... yoke... chap...
my (American) girlfriend a bunch of irish slang... now yis've got an app! this'll make her smile! go raibh maith agát!
As irish not even use some of the words
I installed this app to help me decipher "City of Bohane." Not very helpful.
Really boring and just like all those other people with accents' slang..boring
Now i can talk like a drunken fool
Most is true but not often used but good LOL
Love it! Im irish & i find this very useful for those who cant understand me. You should have an option to search by first letter or word though.
Does exactly what it says it does. Pretty basic so only gets 3*. Used it 4 a week or so 2 learn some cool words/phrases then uninstalled. Interesting.
Daycent yoke, some of the eejits in here'd want te cop on ;) few words and phrases are from de brits but sure we'll claim them to be sure to be sure! ;)
Very poor app Most of the words have the wrong meaning please revise your app (irish) person
THIS IS THE BEST is use this all the time cause i recently moved to ireland
I hope they come out with a British slang app too! This app is cool!
Should be called British Slang... broaden your spectrum. Btw to be "sloshed" means to be drunk.
ETC I AM IRISH and dont know wat HALF that means, besides,if you want to know Irish slang JUST ASK AN IRISHMAN INSTEAD OF A F7+@!ING MACHINE!!!!!!!
Now I can understand my boss at work!! :D Thanks irish slang
Would be even better with Irish pronunciation for each word....lol, great app!
Cool App! I would love an app that teaches gaelic b/c all I know is 'dia duit' lol .. Proud to be black & irish woohoo!
Missing a ton of common words such as jackeen culchie feck tinker also gaelic terms that are commonly used.
Absalut horseshite nobody sais that crap im from ireland and we dont say anything on that list
I freaking love it! Drives my friends crazy! : D
Funny to read how many shlang words we use even tho its missing a hape/scatter/ball/load of them!!
It's missing some very obvious ones. That said, some of the words given are deadly. It needs a way for users to offer words/phrases for inclusion.
Now i won't sound like a freakin' idiot when I visit Belfast! Well done.
Eh...... I'm Irish but I don't use these words and some are wrong
Make english slang from the uk!!! That would be way more awesome

Whoever made this app made up their own slang, cuz most of it isnt irish slang and the ones that are irish slang, the definitions are very poor.
