About Kolkata Airport NSCBI
Kolkata International Airport is spread over an area of 1670 acres and is the largest in eastern India.
The airport serves both domestic and International flights, and is a major center for flights to North-East India, Bangladesh and Southeast Asia.
The airport was known as Dum Dum Airport, before it was renamed to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. It is now commonly known as NSCBI Airport.
The new integrated terminal of the airport spreads over 233,000 m2, and is able to handle 25 million passengers annually. The terminal is an L-shaped structure, containing six levels. It contains 128 check-in counters that utilize CUTE (Common User Terminal Equipment) technology, and has 78 immigration counters and twelve customs counters.
Major operational airlines are Air India, Air Asia, Biman Bangladesh, Druk Air, Dragon Air, Go Air, Air Emirates, Jet Connect, Jet Airways, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Indigo, Thai Airways, Spice Jet, United Airways, Bhutan Airlines and Regent Airways.
The airport has two parallel runways 01/19 L/R, of which the longer one, 01R/19L is used for takeoffs and landings, while the shorter one is used mostly as a taxiway and for daytime landings.
One can check the arrival and departure of the flights along with the detailed information such as scheduled time, expected time, origin, belt and status.
The exclusive ‘get update’ feature gives one the information of the phases through which an airline goes, from scheduled to departure. Once clicked on get update, the user gets all the information of the flight for the day through push notifications on their mobile phones.
The terminal is equipped with 18 aerobridges, and a further 57 remote parking bays.
Lounge facility is available in Domestic and International wings of Terminal-2. The Lounges are located in the Security hold area and the passengers can spend free time leisurely before boarding.
The ticket counters of various airlines are available at Departure level near Gate 3 C.
NSCBI facilitates quick and safe baggage handling, which is available at the Terminal 2 of the airport.
112 check-in counters are currently operational across 7 islands/portals, in both Domestic and International wings.
The airport has a facility of prepaid taxis and air-conditioned buses that connect it to the city. Kolkata airport is connected to the Kolkata Suburban Railway system. The four kilometers long elevated track connects the airport's Biman Bandar station with Dumdum Cantonment, passing Jessore Road. Mega cabs (Kolkata Call Taxi) Radio-taxi services from/to Terminal-2 of NSCBI Airport are available round the clock. The lost and found department serves round the clock and displays the lost items on the app from time to time. One can claim their lost items by showing the copy of their boarding pass/ proof of their journey/ passport. Lost and found items deposited may be claimed from the terminal itself up to 48 hrs from the date/time of deposit. The NSCBI Airport is a major hub of food outlets. Some of the major food outlets that are currently operational includes Biryani Bhai, Coffee Box, Cafeccino, Haldirams, Wow Momo, Flurys, Café Coffee Day, Flying Bite etc.
The list of important telephone numbers, numbers of hospitals/ nursing homes, blood banks, ambulance numbers are available on the official website, under emergency division.
Round the clock medical facilities are available at Terminal 2 which is being managed by AAI and Medica Super Speciality Hospital. The Medical Inspection room is located at the Departure level and could be contacted at 251198017 /25691033.

Only first time it worked... From next time, it showed only loading... I uninstalled and then installed it again... but till now it is only showing loading... it is simply not working...
